about where to find some kind of music (like the music I listed) and that way you wouldn't rec places
like Bleecker Street Records @ NY, for example.

I highly recommend Neil Perry and City of Caterpillar and Yaphet Kotto (and pretty much everything on that list). |

Haven't heard about Yaphet Kotto, but I will.
The first five on that list are some of my favorite hardcore/punk/screamo bands; I'll check out the
rest:)
