06.28.12 | there are way too many bands that sound like 5 |
LifeAsAChipmunk
06.28.12 | List needs Misser, Maker, Basement, Seahaven and other indie punk. |

06.28.12 | "and meaningful with a great scene of kids who put on the best interactive shows."
Yeah that's true as well. Pop punk shows tend to be douche-bag free. |

06.28.12 | "there are way too many bands that sound like 5"
Really? Like what? I added the band to the database and completely forgot about it (not to mention, gave it a 3) so it can't be very good. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
06.28.12 | Indeed Andcas, but I usually do try to keep track of everything I add to the database. It probably isn't very good. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
06.28.12 | So I'm listening now and it's actually pretty good. Just not really memorable or unique. A lot of bands do sound like it. |
LifeAsAChipmunk
06.28.12 | Yeah. |

LifeAsAChipmunk
06.28.12 | I know that very well - it's the reason why I'm trying to branch out to other genres like alternative/indie, electronic, a little bit of post-rock and hip-hop, and (maybe someday) metal. |

For the most part, but with hardcore influenced pop punk (title fight, basement) that brings in the dicks |

06.28.12 | i don't consider basement pop punk. nor do i consider title fight, featherweight, or daylight. if you read the description,
these are albums i've enjoyed on repeat since their release. thats why its short. other albums like sea haven, into it. over
it. the story so far, etc etc. I got over them pretty quickly.
@crymore
dude, seriously that such gold release is gonna be sweeeeeeet.

06.28.12 | I never questioned what you had on the list, I was talking about shows. How aren't Title Fight and Basement pop punk |

06.29.12 | @crymore
that wasn't directed to you, homie.
title fight's first release, yeah sure. but shed and basement's releases don't really sound all that pop punk to me. |
cryMore
06.29.12 | Perhaps not their sophomore albums, I find them to be influenced by emo a lot. Basement's demo and Songs About the Weather, I'd say they're pop punk. Saying that, you have Tigers Jaw on the list, I'd say they were emo before pop punk |
Quen
06.29.12 | basement's LP is still very much pop punk imo. |
cryMore
06.29.12 | yep |
MisguidedYouth
06.29.12 | yeah, you're right. their latest releases are just more emo influenced than usual. |
