My Warped Tour Experience

So I went to Warped yesterday, in Bonner Springs, Kansas. I live in Nebraska btw. It was cloudy most the whole day and never got hotter than 90 degrees, however I still have a sunburn on my neck and face haha. But I saw these 16 bands
1After the Burial
In Dreams

They mostly played stuff from Rareform, but it was crazy awesome. They closed with Aspiration and it was just great. For some odd reason they played on if the smaller stages and not many people were watching so I was up close. My favorite performance. Also, I got a shirt of theirs but can't find a link.
2Streetlight Manifesto
Somewhere in the Between

Saw these dudes for the first time, and really the first time I ever really heard them. They killed it. They didn't have much of a crowd, even though they were mainstage. Also, they were the only act that I saw that got people dancing, aside from Polar Bear Club.
3Polar Bear Club
Clash Battle Guilt Pride

I went with 3 friends, and around 5 it think we all split up. My friend and his girl went to see Sleeping With Sirens and my other friend went to see Taking Back Sunday, he had told me that this band was awesome and that I should check them out, so I decided to watch their set. Crap man, they fucking ruled. Great energy, sincerely sweet guys and great performers. Not many watching their set either so I was right up at the front, bobbing my head the whole time. It was awesome and can tell I'll be loving these guys in no time.
4Every Time I Die
New Junk Aesthetic

Yeah, they were just super solid live. Keith was awesome and Andy and Jordan were slayin on the guitars. Wanderlust was perfect live. Only thing that was bad about this was Jordans gay ass haircut lmfao. But I also got a sweet ETID shirt.
5Pierce the Veil
Collide With the Sky

Just recently getting into these guys but they rule awesome. They too were a mainstage act and rightfully so. They were flawless live. Vic sounded just like he did on record. And when they played their new song, King for a Day, they brought Kellin Quinn on stage to do his part since he the guest vox on it. He was great too, surprisingly enough.
6Of Mice & Men
The Flood

This was more awesome than I expected. As a huge fan of The Flood I was pumped. And even though I was skeptic of them live since Shayley is gone, they still did extremely well, and Shay's fill in was spot on and did great. And omg they were stupidly loud. I left OMAM's set early to see AtB and shit even though the two stages were on opposite corners, I could still OMAM until I was right in front of AtB. But yeah this was just stupid fun.
7Blessthefall
Awakening

So this was actually surprisingly fun as well. Im not a fan of this band, nor do I have any of their records, but this was just fun. They sounded really good. Everything was audible and clear, the screamer sounded better live than on record and they just put on a solid set.
8Mayday Parade
A Lesson in Romantics

My friends girl went fucking nuts when these guys came on haha, but they were awesome. Still just not the same without Jason, but it was still good. And they too sounded awesome.
9Rise Against
The Sufferer and the Witness

This was the last set we watched before we left. And the last or 2nd to last band to play. It was a treat to see them because they were only playing at 4 Warped Tour dates so it was fucking great. They kicked major ass and had the biggest crowd, minus Miss May I, which is gay but whatever. But still, it was a great set and even though it was the end of the day, they still had everyone pumped up.
10Sleeping With Sirens
With Ears to See and Eyes to Hear

So I did catch the first 10 minutes of this before Polar Bear Club Went on, and it was surprisingly ok. Kellin sounded nice and it was enjoyable.
11Memphis May Fire
The Hollow

Yeah, this was right before Rise Against. And my gosh this set was damn fucking fun. The chorus' were great to sing along to and Matty sounded fantastic, and before I was skeptical whether he would be good live or not. My only problem was the kick drums were way too loud and nearly drowned out everything but Matty. And this set seemed really really short but it was great.
12Falling in Reverse
The Drug In Me Is You

So the first 11 covered the good, not the bad. yeah this was just gay and not fun.
13Miss May I
At Heart

Was okay at best, but the singer sucked really hard and it sounded bad as a whole. Also during their last song their sound kept cutting in and out hahah.
14I Fight Dragons
KABOOM!

This was really annoying and was drowning out the sound of MMF's set. And from what I watched, their set was just weird. I didn't get it. They had cool merch though.
15Motionless in White
Creatures

Was really weird. And boring. That is all.
16For Today
Breaker

Actually this wasn't bad at all. I just forgot to mention them earlier. Solid set, they were the first mainstage act of the day. Was good.
