Futures 05.30.25	warfare is a great experience, intense and realistic. idk if i'd ever watch it again though but for what it was trying to accomplish it definitely did it as well as you can. worth checking out for sure.

twlight 05.30.25	I enjoyed Shadow, but some bosses were too much imo. The spammy and over the top AOE attacks were absurd in some cases. Midra is one of the best bosses in all of fromsoft tho

Elden Ring can already get a little tiring so doing more of that but w structured multiplayer is like, okay I guess. For what its worth my ranking is: 1. Dark Souls 2. Bloodborne 3. Sekiro 4. Elden Ring 5. Dark Souls 3 6. Dark Souls 2 For context I started with DS1 in 2012 so I don't think anything can top it. It's my favorite Fromsoft experience so I guess I'm a bit of a purist, Elden Ring did grow on me since its release though. Never played Demons' Souls, as I own neither a PS3 nor a PS5

Bloma 06.03.25	Woo rankings 1. Bloodborne 2. Dark Souls 3. Dark Souls 3 4. Demon's Souls (remake) 5. Dark Souls 2 6. Elden Ring 7. Sekiro These are some of my all time favourite games. Dark Souls 1 and Bloodborne are about equal to me. Bloodborne is just absurdly great, every moment feels like a treat to experience. I've played through it several times and it's the only game I've got a platinum for. I also love Dark Souls 3, almost as much. 2 I loved when I first played it on 360 with the DLCs, can't get into these days. I love the Demon's Souls remake, only played the original recently and is hard to go back when you already know the remake. Elden Ring I personally find a huge step back in terms of atmosphere, creativity, and design. The sad background music really annoys me, the themes don't resonate, the item discovery is ruined by the open world, so I can't get excited about finding a shiny item of a corpse only to discover it's a bunch of mushrooms you can find anywhere. There's too many weapons, and the indoor environments mostly look bland, except for the underground area with the giant insects. I do love the first 3 areas though. Sekiro I just cannot get into at all. I don't like the setting, music, atmosphere, combat, level design, or game flow. I've tried 4 separate times to get into it, just not for me. Nightreign doesn't really interest me, I don't like the direction Fromsoft are going in but I'm always open to anything.

SpiritCrusher2 06.03.25	finally beat the first boss after 20 hours lol. it's really hard playing with randoms, but finally got a decent team. fighting the other bosses now, the quality of players is noticeably higher now. can't wait to play it with a friend tho.
Dewinged 06.03.25	Yeah the first boss is such a gatekeeping piece of shit. FromSoft should have relaxed with the difficulty of that one. I can't fathom how many players will just stop playing there. It's a shame though, the game starts to get better once you unlock all the other stuff.

Gameofmetal 06.03.25	i like to tier my FromSoft ranking because it's hard to put some over others S - Dark Souls, Dark Souls 3, Sekiro A - Bloodborne, Elden Ring B - Dark Souls 2, Demons Soul B tier are still like 8/10 games they're selling nightreign for $40, that seems like a really good compromise.

SpiritCrusher2 06.09.25	I had the most epic fight last night with a friend and one random. we fought the Darkdrift Knight, for the first time ever too. We had two Ironeyes (I had to take one because of the remembrance quest, and the random played the other one) and a Raider. We had a bumpy run, we even all died once and lost our runes, the random guy wasn't doing so well, we thought we didn't have a chance. But somehow we got the boss down to like a quarter of its health, but we were all at zero flasks by then. Then I died, and a few seconds later the raider died too, 50 meters away from me. we thought that's it, rip gg. Then out of nowhere the gigachad random fired his ultimate and revived us both in a single shot. I had my ultimate ready too, broke the centaur's stance, and then we all nuked him with all we got and it was fucking glorious.

I'm maining the birb and had a few fucking epic moments of doing the ultimate to revive two fallen comrades with the three bars each and somehow managed to turn the fight around. I killed Libra last night after days of trying, finally decided to switch to Raider and I punched his stupid bubble twice and Ult'd his fucking ass on the last one, only the night lord of night lords missing.

Djang0 06.09.25	I tend to summarize it as such: DS2 has enough holding it back to where it's too easy for people to ignore the things it does super well: great story/narrative, incredibly charming and atmospheric, lots of variety, non linear open world, so much versatility for challenge runs and fun-runs, excellent pvp. Unfortunately the core level-design, gameplay, and bosses (arguably the three biggest selling points of From's games) are lacking
JohnnyoftheWell 06.09.25	DS2 is easily the best role-playing game in the series (discounting ER) and peaks high with its DLC. base game level/boss design mean it won't ever be my fav, but I'd take it over DS3 overall
RVAHC13 06.09.25	I wrote down a list of my favorite boss fights in the souls series so far and most of them come from DS2, Elden Ring and Sekiro. Absolutely loved the Darklurker, Fume Knight, Sir Alonne and Sinh the Slumbering Dragon fights. The Burnt Ivory King is in my top 5 just from the epic presentation of the fight alone.
SpiritCrusher2 06.10.25	yea the DLC bosses are great. I still love the game, it has its unique charm and I think it's a solid 7 or 8/10, but if I'm comparing it to 1 and 3 it's not even close. The major turn offs for me are the change in atmosphere, colour palette and the combat feel. Level design is all over the place and there's so many lame bosses. Enemy placement is cancer a lot of times too. There are some moments and areas in the game that are amazing tho.

RVAHC13 06.20.25	Just beat 3 for the first time, very nice. I’d say enjoyment is on par with DS2 for different reasons. Bosses were consistently good, best in the trilogy. Story was good although I wish this was the sequel to the original and 2 came directly after. Overall this was a very fun series although I’m glad to be finally done with it for the time being.

RVAHC13 10.07.25	I think it balances out fine but strategy is everything. I actually beat Gnoster recently with just Recluse and a rando Executer after our third backed out early and we didn’t have a lot of trouble. We both knew the drill for that particular boss though
