TheNotrap 03.31.12	Well it has some cool moments, but it's far from being a power/prog landmark in my humble opinion. Their best period is between The Hall Of The Mountain King and Edge Of Thorns.

Btw what's your thoughts about Koloss? I never was a fan but their last blew me away. Tomas Haake is a terrific drummer. @Rock I listen to music at work. Also my drive from home to the office takes 1h, so....jamming all the time. I'm addicted to music... @KJ Some great jammings. Need to check that Michael Lee Firkins album. Keep proggin Tarkus. Monotheist was my friday jam...Was really impressed, great album. TheNotrap 03.31.12	^ Yeah Unisonic's debut is cool. "Souls Alive" at the moment is my favourite track. I know you love classic metal, so don't miss Raven's Wiped Out. If you wish check also Samson's Head On (the first Bruce Dickinson band). Essential NWOBHM stuff.

Jethro42 03.31.12	Same here, JT. I'm jamming on it atm. @Notrap; I'd prolly start with I, Vigilante which is easier to approach. The Crafty Apes needs couple of spins to fully appreciate, and trust me, it paids off.
TheNotrap 03.31.12	^ For what I've heard their music is very accessible and catchy. I trust your word, will start with I, Vigilante I believe their some kind of a UK supergroup, right? With drastic line-up changes between albums....I hope they have a strong identity despite that.

Jethro42 03.31.12	@Notrap; I don't have any infos about the band's origins yet, but I can assure you that both these 3 albums have the same spirit. The Crafty Ape stands out cos it's a monster of album with its 3 chapters to swallow. There's a lot to digest on that one but it's so eargasmic ultimately! It's more like space rock tinted with blues/psychedelic leanings, and definitely more jam-style, adventurous and versatile than the other ones which are a tad more accessible. Better and better with each listens.
