Some tasty stuff here. I'll be putting out my own halfway list soon, but one rec I think you would like in particular is the new Charnel Grounds EP - it's tech death along the lines of Artificial Brain.
You're very kind Titan but I don't feel that way. Nocte, Willie, Voivod, manosg, among others, know their metal pretty well. You, for example, are one of the experts on 80's metal ;)
Great! I've been neglecting my intake of 2021 metal, but that Thy Catafalque record really stood out. I'd also highly recommend the new Empyrium (dark folk/doom) if you haven't listened to it yet. You might love it or you might hate it - there's not much middle ground :]
I think I've heard a song, but I'm not sure. I will check it out, thanks for the rec. If it's a love it or hate it kind of thing, it should be interesting or at least challenging.
Charnel Grounds are indeed Artificial Brain worshipers. Solid release, but the guys need to gain greater personality on their debut album if they're going to take it a step further.
