My Favorite Albums.

My Favorite albums. Most of them carried me into the rock/metal/ so on, so on.....genre. My influence came from mu father, who played a lot of these albums when I was little. His drumming made me love the genre.

All the Right Reasons

2005 was one of my defining moments in finding my love for music. Disturbed, Coheed and Cambria, and these fools, all found their way into my heart (completely). Probably the closest I'll ever get to listening to country is these guys. (even though, not all their albums are like country-ish). Being hard, explosive, and being a well put together band stands out the most to me. Typically the hard part. that's why I love this album.
9 Coheed and Cambria
Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV, Volume One: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness

Being ninth really has nothing to do with my opinion with this album compared to my other favorites. I just remembered it and am too lazy to change around the other 8. Welcome Home........ All I have to say about this album.

The Last Kind Words

It wasn't the album that first got me into them, it was Ozzy's Ozzfest 2008 Sampler. It had "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" on it and I just found their sound incredible. I had to find the whole album. They're are now one of my most frequently played bands. Album is recommended to all who wander.

Wonder What's Next

Well nothing that came next stands up to this album. Like Dogma for King's X, WWN is their heaviest and arguably their best. But is no doubt a favorite. They got me into Nickelback. Weird but they did.
6 Killswitch Engage
Killswitch Engage [2009]

One day I heard "Holy Diver" by these guys on satellite radio. Hooked me in. After that I only had a few songs from Howard's two albums, and Discovered they were making another. I waited one night for "Starting Over" on MTV and it made me fall in love. Bought the album (and simultaneously buying the other two) and they've been my favorite ever since. It's the album that "sealed the deal" with me. Oddly Enough.
5Tool
Lateralus

Being the first album by tool I could listened to, it tied me to Tool. One of the most consistent bands I've ever heard.
4Disturbed
Ten Thousand Fists

One day my dad brought home this album and told me it was for me. I listened to it, and fell in love. I had heard "Down with the Sickness", "Voices", and "Remember, but never a full album. Bee my favorite of theirs ever since. It's probably why I still have that sweet spot for these guys.
3System Of A Down
Toxicity

From beginning to end, this album is incredible. I knew what music I liked when I was younger, and this really pushed me to becoming more diverse.
2Metallica
Metallica

My dad had played in a Metallica Tribute band called Whiplash, they really just pounded Metallica into my lil' brain. first Metallica songs i listened to were on this album. it's a great album.
1 King's X
Dogman

Their best album and one my dad played probably the most. Got used to it, loved it. It's a classic.
