Bloodmoon: I

Really love the atmospheres on this beast. Also the production(who tf thinks it's muddy?!). Chelsea steals the show even among the legends involved on this. Fav track is the T/T.

Infinite Granite

Black metal appropriating lads create a shoegaze album that's actually pretty damn enjoyable. Vocals were catchy and hooky enough to keep me coming back. Fits well into the band's catalogue too. Atmospheres made here are easily my favorite from these guys.
3Cult of Luna
The Raging River

I guess this is more of an EP than an album but whatever. It crushes. Wave after Wave has me coming back for listen after listen. Johannes sounds his best here. Mark Lanagen was a random choice for a guest vocalist but it's a pretty neat track. Can't wait for the new album.
2Trophy Scars
Astral Pariah

I keep coming back to this album when I want something varied and emotional. Father Pt.2 is a masterpiece. The solo on Pestilent Star is sexy as all hell. The album is perfectly paced and no track feels too long or short. My only gripe is sometimes Jerry is a bit too hard to understand/buried in the mix.

Hushed and Grim

Band leans into their strengths. B.hinds brings his soulful and tasteful solos. Bill has his tasty riffs below them. Brann's vocals are top tier along with his drumming. Troy's bass is fat and his voice treads new ground. Only complaint is I wish Brent sang more on here.
