What Does Each Rating Mean For You??

how good does an album have to be to earn one of sputniks ratings 1-5? It would be interesting to know the criteria the sput user base uses to rate their albums....List is mine with albums that correspond with the rating.
1Alice in Chains
Jar of Flies

5: The highest ratinga user can give: To me this rating means that either the album is flawless and every song is amazing with the album also flowing perfectly as a whole or that the album has a deep and very personal meaning to me which means I can over look a couple faults. Jar of flies is only one of two albums to have acheived both(along with aenima by tool) of these feats...The true definition of Classic.
2Death
Human

4.5: To me this rating means that the album is just shy of flawless and that I listen to and cherish it almost as much as a 5, it just has 1 or 2 things wrong with it. For example Human is a masterpiece of death metal, tha't I found to be to short and it didn't hit me as hard as other albums in Deaths discography a.l.a: Symbolic.
3The Black Dahlia Murder
Nocturnal

4: Albums rated as 4 are still truly awesome but have a couple obvious faults. often 4 or 5 songs could be considered master pieces. For example the black dahlia muder has death mask divine, Nocturnal, Warborn, Everything Went Black and What a Horrible Night to Have a curse but the other tracks on the album blend together in a major way, especially in the scond half.

3.5: for me this means that you either enjoyed yourself while you were listening to the album but when you finished you have no recolection of any individual songs or riffs or beats and you kinda just say "yeah well that was another Black Tusk album!" or their are 2 or 3 really great songs that you will probably jam to alot but the rest of the album you will discsard.
5Job For a Cowboy

3:In my opinion alot of the albums I rate 3 are not really bad they are just really generic and while not offensive or anything only catch your attention long enough to briefly awknowledge the album title. Job for a Cowboy are the perfect example of this, everything they have released since ruination has been solid 3 material walking the fine line between good and band on a tightrope of genericness.
6Bullet for My Valentine

2.5: Generally this is something I consider to be bad but with some ideas that make you say "that was acctually goodish." for example some of the opening melodies and choruses on Bullets lates made me say that and begging for mercy was acctually an ok song.
7Attack Attack!
This Means War

2: similar to a 2.5 but with less "mmm that was ok"s. for Example Attack Attack's new one was definitly an improvement from their embarrasing techno metalcore previous efforts and one or two djent riffs were acctually koolish.
8Weezer
Raditude

1.5: so fucking terribly bad but either you feel so embarrassed for the band in question or their was one moment of "this could be promising" before "Oh nevermind that was just a pile of fucking shit wearing a bow tie." With raditude I just felt bad for what was once a good and memorable band turning into creepy 40 year old dudes trying to indie girls who just turned 16.

1:.........................................................wasn't even worth a whole listen.................heard two songs then your ears start bleeding and fall off. No example needed terrible shit album should be self explanatory.
10Justin Bieber
My World 2.0

1: another style of one that should acctually be .5. So bad you didn't even have to listen to it cause you know that if you do your ears won't bleed, but they'll contract a harmful ear STD, Cancer, Parasite, a black hole effect that will suck in your now shitty brain, or all of the above.
