12.21.12 | Know it =) , half of the albums mentioned here I'm already familiar with. The best rec would've been Rope For No Hopers if only I hadn't rated it already a 4 (leans to 4,5) |

09.27.13 | Julia Holter - Loud City Song
Suis La Lune - Heir |
skeames1214
09.27.13 | Spirit They're Gone, Spirit They've Vanished - Animal Collective
as 5-y as 5's get for me, and if you're looking for something different it should sate you. You have to give it a chance, though. Some of the high frequencies can be a bit off-putting on first listen, and a lot of people find the third track really unpleasant. You just have to learn to appreciate the contrast, because some of the moments in this album are transcendent. |

Parallels
10.01.13 | The Buzzhorn - Disconnected
Underrated band that was taken off their label because they weren't lucrative enough as Taproot. Highly recommended, really heavy and thick production with a post-grunge sound. "Waste of a Man" and "Ordinary" are classic. |
Trebor.
10.01.13 | Owen is the only answer |
skeames1214
10.01.13 | I saw Kinsella play a bunch of Owen songs before his new band played this summer, and that guy is a fucking wizard with an acoustic guitar. Makes me want to give up playing. |
