Borderlands 2 Characters Ranked

Having played through the game four times I decided to make this list of the best characters playable and non playable. Feel free to hate.

This will be based on abilities and how they are used by people in a 4 player co-op game

Zero is the best playable character because he allows players to play more tactical and bait enemies into traps the player has set with his deception ability. If you aren't that player you can sneak by with the deception power.

Salvador is a beast straight up. He is the guy who will be in the middle of the battle blowing apart enemies. With his gunzerking it assures that he will be the center of attention. This however could be a downfall as being focused on will drain health fast and to a player that isn't paying attention.

Maya will control the battle, with the phaselock it can buy players precious seconds to revive another or it can be used to take a powerful enemy out of the fight for a few seconds so the others can focus on other pesky enemies so they can focus on said enemy after

I must say that I haven't played as Gaige at all and haven't played much with someone who does use her. What I do know is that she can deal massive damage when leveled up enough and of course deathtrap who will take even the toughest enemies on by himself.

Axton seems like a copy of Roland from BL1 not much added. His turret will lay down support fire but don't expect him to be the powerhouse of the battle
7 Non-playable

This was the easier of the two lists to make. This is based off of dialogue, how much they made me laugh and how badass they are.
8Handsome Jack

Jack was hilarious to say the least. With his personality and his messages to the player he will keep one chuckling and smiling.

Like Jack claptrap is hilarious. From the moment you meet him on he will provide some of the most comical conversations in the game. From his referring to the player as "minion" and his tirade against jack near the end of the game claptrap phenomenal

Brick is a great character to listen to. He will provide a good ally along with funny dialogue. Most of his dialogue involves punching such as when he can't understand that there is other ways of fighting besides violently beating his enemies to death

Lilith is funny mostly for the fact of how forward she is with Roland making the latter uncomfortable. She's lower in the list because absent for a combined half of the game.

Mordeci is a bit boring. Not alot of dialogue early on and by the later part of the game he is giving missions out. He provides a few funny moments but for the most part they are far between.

Roland like Lilith is absent for the most of the game and while he is there he's dull. Just giving out missions and giving the basic soldier talk. The only times when he is funny is when he interacts with other character like Brick or Lilith.
