Went To Warped Tour Today

These are the bands I saw in the order in which I saw them. Overall I had a great day and saw some awesome bands, this year was better than the last two years imo.
1Stick to Your Guns
Diamond

ugh, really didn't enjoy their set. Their distortion was kind of fucked so you couldn't
pick out when they were changing chords and the singer had a pretentious rant
about how fucked up the world is halfway through.
2Silverstein
This Is How the Wind Shifts

I've always moderately enjoyed these guys to a small extent but they put on a
great live show. Ended up talking with the guys in their merch tent about Refused
for a bit even though I didn't really buy anything.
3 Cross Faith
idk

Was chilling near the Ernie Ball stage in between bands and heard these guys.
They're a synthcore band so at first I just sort of ignored them, but even though
their music was ridiculous, they put on an awesome show and somehow managed
to get the crowd really involved despite not being able to speak English very well
(they're from Japan). I don't think I'd listen to them at home but they were a lot of
fun.
4The Wonder Years
The Greatest Generation

These guys were fantastic, everything I hoped for. They played a good mix of new
and old stuff and it was all generally the stronger songs.
5letlive.
Fake History

I was so stoked to finally get to see these guys and I was not disappointed. Jason
has an incredible amount of stage presence and they extended sections and even
mixed a couple songs together which was awesome. I always appreciate stuff like
that. The crowd was probably one of the smallest of the day, go figure with all the
scene kids around.
6The Chariot
One Wing

Their set started really suddenly and just kept getting better as it went on. The
singer and one of the guitarists both went into the crowd at different points and
Jason from letlive came on and sang half a song (I forget which song, but it was off
of One Wing and it's the one that just ends with him screaming over nothing).
7The Early November
In Currents

Don't really know these guys, they were ok. Felt really bad for them since The
Story so Far was playing next and a shitton of people showed up really early for
them since this was like their hometown show (or I guess home area, I doubt
they're from Mountain View).
8The Story So Far
What You Don't See

Holy shit I did not expect a pop-punk show to be this intense. Band was awesome
and everyone was way into it. The stage setup was weird since there were a lot of
built in seats behind the standing area. Everyone wanted to stand up front so the
standing area was just absolutely packed with more than 1 person per square foot.
For me that level of intensity I experienced from the crowd was second only to
Refused (yeah I get that it's blasphemous to compare the two but it was awesome,
probably would have been just as if not more intense without the standing area
claustrophobia).
