10The Birthday Massacre
Pins And Needles

It was a toss-up between 10 + 11 but Pins And Needles shows a band stripping away the cobwebs and making a more mainstream release that doesn't necessarily tarnish their identity but improves upon it.
9Enslaved
Axioma Ethica Odini

Adventurous and abrasive, Enslaved deliver what is a incredibly captivating listen.
8Kings Of Leon
Come Around Sundown

Pretty much a collection of fine indie anthems of 2010, definetly a better direction than the last album.
7Crystal Castles
Crystal Castles II

Much less schizophrenic than Crystal Castles self titled debut and all the better for it. An album that you can get immersed in.
6The Tallest Man on Earth
The Wild Hunt

I don't believe i've heard anything this year that has gripped me with as much emotion as The Wild Hunt.
5Kanye West
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy

Kanye West is very hit and miss for me, with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy he has crafted a truely entertaining release, although a few misses are made it is by far his most cohesive release to date.
4Circa Survive
Blue Sky Noise

A truely refreshing listen, I found this one of the most interesting listens of this year.
3Arcade Fire
The Suburbs

Arcade Fire can do no wrong. Collecting upon there previous albums they deliver what is there most inspired album to date.
2Dead Letter Circus
This Is The Warning

You know when you find an album that just clicks with you instantly? well Dead Letter Circus This Is The Warning was my 2010 choice, every song just hits me with it's sheer volume and instantly accessible anthems making it one of my most played albums of the year.
1Deftones
Diamond Eyes

Deftones finest album to date. It encapsulates upon the various heavy and emotional styles that are prevalent in there sound, though they flow smoothly between each song.Deftones have crafted an atmosphere that is seductive in it's brutality. My favourite album of the year hands down.
