04.19.22 | great list
was at the very last DEP show in 2017 and did a very clever bookend set where they opened with the first song from their first EP and ended with dissociation as an encore |

04.19.22 | Trash talk is a really good live band but their records kinda suck |
bigguytoo9
04.19.22 | Trash Talk is dope live for sure. I saw them play with DEP once and also saw them with Mellowhype once. |
DoofDoof
04.19.22 | My top 5 would be (in no order):
- Tindersticks (The Barbican)
- The National (Alexandra Palace)
- Faith No More (Phoenix Festival)
- Deerhunter (Shep Bush Empire)
- Anathema (Koko Camden)
Turnstile this year were really good too |

04.19.22 | that prolaps description lmfao |

04.19.22 | really wish I could have gone to dillinger's last show, but I'm glad I at least got to see them 4 times while they were still around. I saw trash talk open for danny brown the first time I saw him and again opening for dillinger. they left a bad impression on me after seeing them at the dillinger show though after the vocalist was harassing this girl in the crowd next to me |

04.19.22 | You were at 2?! Incredibly hype |
Avagantamos
04.19.22 | haha I actually took that description for 1 straight from a machine girl t-shirt, but it describes perfectly my experience seeing prolaps live, and Matt from machine girl is half of prolaps anyway |
kevbogz
04.19.22 | not sure what my top 5 would be in order, but seeing the chariot in between sets of a comadre, joyce manor, and dangers show across the street cuz my buddy opened for them was an experience.
also saw touche amore with defeater in a random warehouse with like 50 people.
seeing thou play sabbath covers stoned outta my gourd was tight.
hmmm |
CottonSalad
04.19.22 | Magma (NYC - 2014)
King Crimson (NYC - 2015)
Stevie Wonder (Madison Square Garden - 2016)
Dillinger Escape Plan (Helsinki, FI - 2017)
Meshuggah (Atlanta, GA - 2018) |
Avagantamos
04.19.22 | I've had tickets to see converge twice and was unable to go both times =[ major bummer. once was just at a festival though |
CottonSalad
04.19.22 | My biggest missed concert was Death Grips - and that still bums me out haha |
IsisScript80
04.19.22 | In no order:
The Mars Volta - 09/07/03 - The Electric Ballroom
Ennio Morricone 10/04/10 - Royal Albert Hall
Devin Townsend “The Retinal Circus” - 27/10/12 - The Roundhouse
Heaven and Hell (support: Lamb of God, Iced Earth) - 10/11/07 -Wembley Arena
Can’t really pick a fifth, as it’s a tie between the several times I’ve each seen Converge and DEP blow my tiny mind. |

04.19.22 | and trash talk have always seemed like the epitome of hipster hardcore to me. that band was trendy as fuck for a while for some reason |
AlexKzillion
04.19.22 | No order:
Rush - (Richmond, VA 2010)
Deftones - (Baltimore, MD 2017)
Injury Reserve - (College Park, MD 2019)
Tyler, the Creator - (Washington DC, 2019)
BTBAM - (Washington DC, 2021)
I've been lucky to see a lot more good shows than bad so this was pretty hard. Btbam could prob be switched out for glassjaw, metallica, death grips |
widowslaugh123
04.19.22 | Mort they were trendy cuz their live shows were epic but yeah under scrutiny they fall apart |
