| 5 Bands That Left A Mark On My Music Taste
These are five bands that my mum got me into which exposed me to real music. | | 1 | The Smashing Pumpkins
My mum brought home a CD she thought I would like called 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness' and it just blew me away, I played it so much that I went into the city and bought 'Siamese Dream' which in my opinion is the best Pumpkin CD ever made. I love this band definitely my favorite. | | 2 | The Doors
When my dad died, I took hes favorite band shirt, which was just plain black with 'The Doors' written on it, but I'd felt guilty wearing it but never hearing the band, so I bought their first record (self titled) and played it non stop, I have a great Doors collection now | | 3 | Pink Floyd
When I was 14 and my sister came down, on her way back to her town I went onlong for a ride and listened listened to 'The Wall' from start to finish, I didnt really like it during the start but when the cd got to 'One Of My Turns' I loved it, Now I've got all their albums and the ones I couldnt get, I downloaded | | 4 | David Bowie
I heard 'Suffragette City' somewhere, then bought a CD with a few of hes greatest hits called 'Changesbowie' all the songs seem familar but I didn't know he sang them, then I got 'The Man Who Sold the World' and decided I want be a Bowie fan, My favorite song still is 'Ashes To Ashes' | | 5 | Led Zeppelin
