My album ranking opinion. I remember being in JR High, blasting Adrenaline and Around the Fur through crappy head phones, declaring "Deftones is my favorite band." By High School, White Pony came out...I was amazed. Two years after that I graduated (class of 2002) Now, I'm in my mid-20's....and I can still say they're all around my favorite band. What a fantastic first album! It's so unique. I was looking at this album the other day, the lyrics are so good! It's a great album, but I listened to this since JR High....it feels, "young" now. I've played it waaay too much in my younger days. Thats not to say I wont pop it in my car every now and then still. | | 5 |  | Deftones

Around the fur
I big reason why this ranked higher than Self Titled...is because the amount of listens I gave this album! I used to draw a lot, and every single day I'd play this album in my headphones while i drew for hours. I know this album like the back of my hand. Great 2nd release,feel more grown up than adrenaline. Also, Abe's wife sounds like she's pretty hot on "MX" and Chino's scream is perfected on this release. Diamond Eyes
What what? Already, you ask? I've had this album for about a month now and have been listening to it contantly (Yes, I still bought a hard copy of it on Tuesday....Gotta have the lyrics, plus the cover art owl is sweet). But from a month of listening, I still play it. It's layers and hidden awesomeness you notice with different listens get me hard. Sucks about Chi & the Euros album...but holy sh*t Diamond Eyes is so F'in good. | | 1 |  | Deftones

05.06.10 | "Mein" is on 'Saturday Night Wrist', not their self-titled. And I think I'd have something like:
1, 3, 5, 4, 6 (I haven't heard 'Diamond Eyes' enough yet to place it, though I suspect it will end up somewhere around the 3rd position).

05.06.10 | God Loves Ugly definitely rules, but I could see you liking Lucy Ford better.. or even Sad Clown Bad Dub II. They both focus more on jazz samples than God Loves Ugly. GLU is still my favorite Atmosphere album though, the title track, Give Me, F*ck You Lucy, Love Life and Modern Man's Hustle all rule. Oh, and Saves the Day too. Fuck, every song. | BigHans
