03.12.10 | Have you heard The End's first album? Still one of the most complex and outright heavy albums around.
Never even heard of the film. |

03.12.10 | Converge - Axe to Fall
The Dillinger Escape Plan - Miss Machine
Botch - We Are the Romans
Coalesce - Ox
Just some of the best metalcore to ever be made. |

03.12.10 | I haven't actually heard it yet. Heard good things about it, but I just recently got into them. Elementary is fantastic, I can tell they have some more chaos though... seems a bit refined from what they can actually do! |

03.12.10 | It's called - Transfer Trachea Reverberations From Point: False Omniscient.
Brilliant album. I second everything in the second post too. Axe to Fall is especially great. |

03.12.10 | I'll definitely check it out.
Axe to Fall seems to be a grower for me. I gave it a listen a while back, had a hard time with it, started listening again more recently and took it much easier. Lots of musical talent, hopefully I'll be able to appreciate it as much as everyone else relatively soon.
Been diggin on Botch for a few weeks now too (Since I joined Sputnik basically) |

03.12.10 | Converge itself is a grower band. Once you get into Axe to Fall well, listen to You Fail Me, then maybe try Jane Doe (their best album, but takes awhile to get into for most everyone). |

03.12.10 | Yeah, great band, dude. Kinda wish I could go back and hear it all again for the first time.
Shai Hulud are very good. That Within Blood Ill-Tempered is a sweet album. And Buried Inside's Chronoclast is very powerful and atmospheric. |

03.12.10 | Good to see someone rec You Fail Me, dude. Still don't get why it doesn't recieve the appreciation it deserves. The title song is absolute gold. |
Powerban
03.12.10 | If you like Mastodon check out Baroness and Kylesa and maybe Black Tusk if you find them all sexy. |

03.12.10 | @BrokenJewel: Just gave Buried Inside a listen and holy hell. Good Stuff, good stuff... Shai Hulud's been kicking around my CD player for a while too, also very good. Great call on Buried Inside though, appreciate it.
@Eternium: Will definitely stick with Converge, there's too much talent there for me to not to try and love them.
@Powerban: The Blue Album is just fantastic. Going to see BTBAM, Mastodon and Baroness all at the same show... My head may explode. Haven't heard Black Tusk yet, will def. give a listen |

03.12.10 | For an old, completely unheard of classic try: Course of Action - Carving Our Way By Tearing Our Faith.
Particularly the song There Is A War Inside Me

03.12.10 | All I found was some gay band named A Course of Action. |
Brokenjewel
03.12.10 | Yeah, it's old and obscure sadly. It was on goodliferecordings. They were French I think, really great album. I'm putting a review up soon for it so have a look and if you ever see it around... |

03.12.10 | "I hope it's a naked guy with a boner". "what?". "nothing". I need to watch that movie again |
