| BTBAM Colors
Ranking the songs. All of these songs are incredibly
br00tal. But i feel
the need to rank these. I love this CD, even though
I'm not usually the one to go for metal. | 1 | Between the Buried and Me Sun of Nothing
This track has had the most lasting value of any track on this album for me.
The riffs are catchy, there's the creepy part about 3 minutes in that always
makes me laugh, and the clean vocals on this track is the best. | 2 | Viridian
The most relaxing song ever. Each time I listen to this song I am amazed
this would be on an album such as this. Best bass solo in ever. | 3 | Prequel to the Sequel
The guest vocalist Adam Fisher (from Fear Before the March of Flames)
really makes this song, in my opinion. The different style in screaming he
has does a good job at creating the mood. It's also a change of pace. As,
about 48 minutes into the album, is always a good thing. | 4 | Foam Born, Pt. A: The Backtrack
This track is what made me listen to the CD in general. I had never heard of
BTBAM before, and it was sittin there in my car. Decided to play it. the first
minute and a half reminded me of Muse's "Take a Bow." Then break in the
growls. It's truly a fantastic track as Tom is able to show off his singing
ability right away. | 5 | White Walls
There's something about this track that I love, but I just can't put my finger
on it.... Maybe the fact that it's amazing has something to do with it. | 6 | Informal Gluttony
I don't know exactly how to explain this track other than br00tal and
awesome. Was originally one of my favorites off of Colors | 7 | Ants of the Sky
While I usually get lost somewhere in the middle of this 13 minute
masterpiece, it has the best clean vocals on the album. The lyrics are great
as well. | 8 | Foam Born, Pt. B: The Decade of Statues
This track has sweet riffs and hooks. I don't know how it's the last on the
list, because it's a phenomenal track. It just shows how amazing this album
is. | |
