| My Top 5 Favorite Albums Of All Time
These are the best albums ever | 5 | | Yes Drama
To think that the best Yes album would be the one without Jon Anderson. I
picked up this album thinking nothing of it besides the recommendation from
my dad. After listening to it a couple times I fell in love. Not until now do I
realize that this album became a part of my life. This helped further my love for
the genre that is prog rock | 4 | | Coheed and Cambria From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness
If you look at my ratings you can tell that I am a CoCa fanboy. I am a HUGE
fanboy. I love all their songs, all their lyrics, all their material. I used to listen to
nothing but classic rock and was stubborn as hell to listen to anything else. This
album broke me out of that narrow thinking. EVERY SINGLE song is fantastic. I
get chills every time I listen to this album and I could listen to it forever. All
their albums are great but this one shines way above the rest in all aspects | 3 | | Led Zeppelin Physical Graffiti
Love them or hate them, Led Zeppelin is the most popular and the best rock
band of all time. This album has Led Zeppelin's most unknown and best hits.
Songs like In the Light, In My Time of Dying, Ten Years Gone, and the Rover
prove that Led Zeppelin's best music is their lesser known material | 2 | | Electric Light Orchestra Out of the Blue
I felt as this should have been number 1 considering this is my favorite band
but it just didn't make the cut. This album is the pinnacle of great song writing
and catchy pop/rock. the music is simple and it makes me feel so good. | 1 | | Jethro Tull Thick as a Brick
This is what opened the door to me for progressive rock and long epic songs. Not
to mention the best music you could ever listen to. It flows so perfectly and I've never felt so captivated when listening
to music. This is one of the few albums where the 40 minute running time feels like 20 minutes. I get so thrown into
the world of this album that it feels like my time there was extremely short lived. This album barely snubbed Out of the
Blue for the top spot and listening to it shows it | |
