I love how all Minnesotans take so much pride in, well, being Minnesotan. I think it's the ridiculous weather; if we can survive this state it's a bonding experience. oh, and Poison the Well > Dylan? Riiiiight. I'd add Weaver at the Loom, they're pretty great. Oh, and Charis is/was a good local band. I'd also say After the Burial, Your Memorial, Venia, and Veil of Maya. Minneapolis tech metalcore is surprisingly good.
