I've listened to most post Ozzy Sabbath albums and most songs just don't stay in your head nor stir your emotions. The music and vocals of Ozzy era Sabbath just oozed with ambience, tension and authentic emotion. My lack of taste for that wailing, quasi-operatic style also explains why I can't fully embrace Iron Maiden. |
