Fall/winter Concerts
Concerts i'm planning on seeing in Boston once school starts back up. |
1 | The National
With Wye Oak and Yo La Tengo. One of my top 3 favorite bands, can not wait for this one, even if it is in a giant venue : / |
2 | The Japandroids
With Bass Drum of Death. Heard their live shows are great, and its really cheap so no reason not to go |
3 | Mount Eerie
Also very cheap, should be interesting... |
4 | Olivia Tremor Control Group
Hell yes, hopefully this doesn't sell out before I can get tickets. |
5 | A Silver Mount Zion
10 bucks to see some good post rock, why the hell not |
6 | The Menzingers
with The Flatliners. Fantastic punk from my home town (Scranton PA fuck yeah), no way this won't be an awesome time |
7 | Frank Turner
with Andrew Jackson Jihad and Into It Over It. Probably my most anticipated show of the year |
8 | We Were Promised Jetpacks |
9 | Thrice
with Moving Mountains and La Dispute. Hot Damn |
10 | Four Years Strong
with Gallows, Title Fight, The Swellers, and Sharks. Great lineup, but this is probably the show i'll drop if i'm low on cash. If the Wonder Years were here instead of with New Found Glory I'd be all over this though. |
11 | Polar Bear Club
with Balance and Composure, Such Gold, and Fireworks. Pop Fucking Punk |
12 | The Shins
I have a feeling this is already sold out, which sucks because it's one of the few shows i have alot of people to go with. |
13 | Defeater
with Bane. Third time seeing them this year. Fun fact: found out the other day that the singer of Defeater works at my local record/movie shop. Wtf awesome |
14 | WU LYF
with Crystal Antlers. Finally fell in love with these guys, and they're playing in a very small venue so it should be fantastic. |
15 | Laura Marling
or Cymbals Eat Guitars if i can convince my girlfriend to not make me see Laura Marling. |
