Worst Post-2000 Rock/metal Albums I've Heard

These are just a few of the worst albums I've heard that released post-2000.
1Emmure
The Respect Issue

I was a huge fan of their first two releases, the EP and the full-length, Goodbye To The Gallows. When I heard this steaming pile of crud, I was in shock of how utterly bland and uninspired this band quickly became. Some of the tracks were even full-length breakdowns! Nothing exciting here.
2Hinder
Extreme Behavior

Did we seriously need another Papa Roach/Nickelback? Really?
3Hollywood Undead
Swan Songs

A band that mixes two fads into one! The dead nu metal/rapcore trend and the current "emo" fad going on. Plus they play a backing track during live shows, pretty pathetic.
4Limp Bizkit
Results May Vary

I used to like this band to an extent, whenever I was bored they gave me a good laugh and still do every once and awhile, this album failed to produce even the slightest of a smirk.
5Korn
Untitled

I'm a fan of Korn, even though my nu metal phase is over, I doubt I could ever give up Korn. I made it about halfway through and turned it off, I honestly have no idea what happened. I thankfully took the CD back and bought Head's Save Me From Myself instead, no way am I a fan of christian music, but his solo debut blows this overproduced hogshit out of the park.
6Papa Roach
Metamorphosis

Bland, uninspired, almost seemed forced at times.
7Linkin Park
Minutes To Midnight

Hopping on the alternative rock bandwagon of recent years, great...
8Powerman 5000
Transform

An industrial/nu metal band trying to play punk rock and failing miserably, glad the new album will be a return to roots of sorts.
9Sepultura
A-Lex

Some people say Derrick Green ruined Sepultura, I really couldn't say that seeing as that I thoroughly enjoyed Dante XXI. But this album makes me want to reconsider.
10Sum 41
Underclass Hero

I liked this band as a kid and continue to listen to their music on occasion, without Brownsound these guys are just a bunch of wimps to be honest, Deryck Whibley couldn't play a decent lead riff even if his life depended on it.
11Waking The Cadaver
Perverse Recollections of A Necromangler

Anything and everything is wrong with this, whether it be the atrocious snare that puts even St Anger to shame, or the gurgling razor blades vocals...this is sure to even make the "br00t4l" kids scratch their heads in confusion.
12Ill Nino
Confession

Filler, Filler, Filler, Filler, Decent track, Filler Filler, Filler
Confession summed up shortly.
13Green Day
21st Century Breakdown

As a fan of Green Day, I knew I wasn't going to get a pop-punk record, not a punk record at all. I expected American Idiot V2.0, but instead...I get a pop record. Really guys? Ugh. Guess I'll stick to Foxboro Hot Tubs.
14Coal Chamber
Giving The Devil His Due

I'm not a huge fan of Coal Chamber, but I do enjoy Dez's later project DevilDriver a hell of a lot more. I went ahead and purchased this record, figuring it would be a bridge-gap between the Coal Chamber and the DevilDriver sound. Oh boy, I was wrong...I end up with a bunch of shitty filler that couldn't be plopped onto the previous three records. Great.
15AFI
Decemberunderground

As a huge fan of AFI, I was hoping for a little more here. I personally believe The Art of Drowning is one of the greatest albums ever made, as do a few others here on this site. Anyway, with Sing the Sorrow, it was an alternative rock album. I felt it was still good nonetheless, even though they were referred to as sellouts, basically what they were. I expected another solid AFI alt-rock release, instead I get a massively keyboard driven record full of constant filler, buzzing guitars and endlessly whining vocals. I liked Davey back in the day, his voice complemented the instruments well. With this release? Believe they just pull them down. And with his side project Blaqk Audio...not much there either.
