09.22.09 | Ugh. Hate it when the album art doesn't show up. |
Skimaskcheck
09.22.09 | Welcome back from wherever you were!, i remember having a conversation with you about Leftover Crack, and whether or not their show would be as good at a festival as opposed to a smaller venue.
It was, they slayed. |
adkymo
09.22.09 | I need to get another copy of no gods no managers, mine became corrupt and wouldn't play on the trusty ipod :( |
Athom
09.22.09 | i still think Atheist Anthem is the best song stza ever wrote |
thebbqshrimp
09.22.09 | @ skimaskcheck: Glad to hear it!
@ redsky: It's definitely up there. I'd also throw "Heroin or Suicide?," "500 Channels," and "Zombie Christ," into that hat. |

09.22.09 | Heroin or Suicide:
"I made a choice, deep inside
Heroin or suicide?
Sickness praised in times of need
We waste away from hands of greed
Jesus nailed to wooden Ts
Cannot compete with my disease
Humanity, the weak condition,
My soul is sick from my decision."
Pretty powerful. Slash the "Jesus nailed to wooden Ts..." line is one of my fav ever. |
kitsch
09.22.09 | the only time i have ever smoked crack was when i was 16 and saw leftover crack in chicago.
i hate all ska/skapunk/skacore now |
bloc
09.22.09 | no offence, but i think i speak for everyone when i say no one noticed you were gone. |
Boognish
09.22.09 | ^He wasn't asking for a welcome back party. No need to be a dick about it |
bloc
09.22.09 | haha, chillout, you know i wasn't serious. |
thebbqshrimp
09.22.09 | @ boognish: forrealz.
@ kitsch: why in the fuck would you ever smoke crack? |
Mordecai.
09.23.09 | I'd swap 1 and 2 |
KTV
09.23.09 | 1 is the only crack rock steady album you'll need, besides No Cash - Run Your Pockets |
PanasonicYouth
09.23.09 | ARE YOU READY TO STOP THE ROTTEN BLUE MENACE? LETS GO KILL US A COP
CRACK ROCK STEADY, ARE YOU READY? LIVIN' ABOVE THE LAAAAAAW |
thebbqshrimp
09.23.09 | No Cash isn't Crack Rock Steady. They get associated with all of the crack rock steady bands because they're similar, but none of the members of No Cash have anything to do with any of the members of any of the crack rock steady bands.
That being said, Run Your Pockets would be #1 on my list if they were associated. |
KTV
09.25.09 | cool, they're still CRS |
kitsch
09.25.09 | bbqshrimp; i was at a leftover crack show! why not?
also when i was 16 i didnt really think about it because i thought coke was the best thing ever. |
Treska
11.23.09 | sweet list, almost exactly the same order i'd put it all in
and also, sweet little conversation you guys had goin |
thebbqshrimp
11.24.09 | @ KTV: No. They're not. Crack Rock Steady is a punk scene that emerged from C-Squat in NYC. No Cash are from Pennsylvania.
@ kitsch: Fair enough, I guess.
@ Treska: Thanks, broski.
And KTV... for the record, Run Your Pockets is possibly my favorite album of all-time. |
