Scream The Prayer
the best performances from best to worst(but even the worst band was pretty damn awesome)
tour was very enjoyable even though i only listen to a couple of these bands regularily.
if you want setlists i know a good chunk of the songs that were played. |
1 | | The Chariot Wars and rumors of wars
Freaking hardcore and insane. threw things that should not be thrown. climbed things that should not be climbed. the most intense band i've ever seen live and i really never enjoyed their albums too much. but that alone converted me into a massive fanboy. |
2 | | For Today potraits
they gave the longest christian speech. didnt really care cause im catholic to an extent. they were just unbelieveably awesome. everyone chanted one more song when they were done. even though they were like the 4th band up. but they couldnt due to time constraints and you could tell it meant alot to the band and they really wanted to play some more. |
3 | | oh sleeper son of the morning
played 3 new songs which were all really good. very enjoyable since i know all of their songs and this was the main reason i went. |
4 | | a plea for purging depravity
their singer is like 350 pounds and he was tackled off the stage and into the crowd by the screamer that used to be in alert the sky. landed on some skinny chick. cracked me up. really awesome band. never heard them before but they were awesome. got their cd for 5 bucks not the best but the performance was just amazing. |
5 | | haste the day dreamer
played all their old good songs like american love, blue 42, when everything falls, walk on and all the sweet new stuff. they were pretty good. i really wished the chariot headlined though so they could have the encore but it was good anyway. |
6 | | gwen stacy the life i know
awesome clean singer. easily the best and way better than the singer from a graceful. new screamer is really awesome. pumped for the new cd cause they played a couple new songs and they were far better than their generic stuff from before. really good live band. |
7 | | corpus christi the darker shades of white
very awesome. they're guitarist is the 2nd coolest guy on this tour after dozer(vox for a plea for purging). speaking of which almost every band had 1 person wearing a shirt of dozer. but back to cc. they were very good and started the show off with a bang. |
8 | | project 86
knew none of their songs. they werent metalcore but they made a big deal out of the one song that had a breakdown. they played new stuff. and they impressed me so i should look into some of their material sometime this week. |
9 | | agraceful the great i am
not a bad performance at all but they werent up to par with all the other bands but it was still enjoyable and most of the crowd loved them. |
10 | | for all we know random ep
new local band from michigan. they did pretty good but their music was pretty simple and their singer was kind of winey. pretty good though. i grabbed their ep but havent given it a listen yet. |
