Great Bands: Best Albums

My favourite albums from these bands...
1Nine Inch Nails
The Downward Spiral

How can it not be The Downward Spiral! This album takes you on such a journey, just try not to get too depressed listening to it. The fragile is a great album too, just doesn't flow like this does.
2Dark Tranquility
Haven

Not many peoples choice, but there's not one bad song on here.
3Rage Against The Machine
Rage Against The Machine

Amazing album, in my opinion their other albums don't get even close to this.
4System Of A Down
System Of A Down

Their most interesting and origional record: 'Sugar' being a personel favourite, as well as the haunting track 'spiders'
5Rush
A Farewell To Kings

Almost a flip of a coin between this and 'Moving Pictures' but this one takes it with a mixture of sprawling epics (Xanadu is 11 min) followed by the incredibly catchy 'Closer To The Heart' Every song on it is integral to the album, you just don't feel that on some of their other records
6Pearl Jam
Ten

Has to be 'Ten', just a classic album. 'Black' showcases the emotional side of Eddie's vocals and is probably the best song on the album.
7The Beatles
Abbey Road

Every song is enjoyable in its own right, as a whole album, it's just a class act. Just listen and you'll forget what you're doing for a good 50 minutes. Sit back and enjoy.
8Metallica
Master Of Puppets

It's their best album! Ride the lightning has some great tracks, but 'trapped under ice', 'escape' just aren't up to it. On MoP each song is different: from the thunderous opener 'Battery' to the melodic 'Welcome Home(Sanatorium)'.
9R.E.M.
Automatic For The People

Again, no fillers, 'Man on the moon', 'Sidewinder Sleeps tonite' keep the album moving even when 'Everbody hurts' has put a tear in your eye!
10Linkin Park
Hybrid Theory

Bulls**t is all their new music more 'emotionally mature' or whatever anyone says, everyone knows LP are past it now. They did have their time, however, when Shinoda actually did stuff. Incredibly catchy, and a huge part of any kids introduction to music.
