05.13.09 | 320kbs mp3, saves space and I can't notice the difference between a 320 and a flac. |
AmnesiacR
05.13.09 | I can definitely hear a difference between 128 and 320 kbs. It's very audible.
Most of my music is in 320/kbs MP3s--but I also have some FLAC, OGG, and other lossless formats. I'm a sucker for vinyl rips. |
withALMONDS
05.13.09 | V0 or V2 quality, or 320kbps
i'm too lazy to convert flac files for itunes when i get them, otherwise i'd being using those for the most part |
MassiveAttack
05.13.09 | I listen in FLAC and mp3 v0 for mp3 player. I'm sure I'll start updating my albums into flac once I get another HD. |
stephenhannibal
05.13.09 | 320kbps mp3... mostly, too much music to convert it all though.
I wish the sonics of music got better and not worse.
Damn ipods and their convenience..... |
Willie
05.13.09 | I keep all mine at 320 variable for the most part. I have a lot of older music at 192 though. |

05.13.09 | mostly 192kbs tbh, but nothing with less (that does really sound shitty). the space on my laptop is running out by now ;)
however, as soon as I buy an external hard drive I'll rip all my CDs with 320kbs. uh, that's gonna take a while. |
xequalscore

05.13.09 | as long is it is a decent VBR its good enough for me. |
TheNewWhack
05.13.09 | The majority is in VBR.
There is definitely a quality difference between 128 and 320. |
Lunarfall
05.13.09 | used to stick to 320, but im back to 192 for most music. my favorite albums are at 320, and i have my classical and jazz music collections in flac. |
Shrapnel94
05.13.09 | If your downloading an album just to listen to it, then shoot for 320 kbps MP3's (or 128, if you hear no difference, which I do...). If you are downloading with intentions to burn a cd, get FLAC and convert it to .WAV
And vinyl rips are amazing. |
DBlitz
05.13.09 | There is a difference between 128 and 320
most of my music is 192-320, there are a few 128 here and there though. |
Phantom
05.13.09 | I try to get FLACS when I can, but it's too much effort to convert them so they work on itunes. So I've mostly got a mix of 128kbs and 320kbs on my laptop. |
Fugue

TheGoddamnBatman
06.25.09 | I rip my physical copies with EAC+LAME. Annoyingly anal 320kbps quality mp3s. My ipod and my ears love it. |
