Some Awesome Rappers
in no particular order
Amazing UK rapper, who combines singing, rapping and playing guitar to make perfectly crafted songs, on topics such as rape, murder, drug abuse, and underage sex. Definitely an artist that you would want to check out.
He surely needs no introduction. A highly talented rapper, actor, poet, activist and much more, he broke barriers in hip-hop, but unfortunately his life was cut way too short.
I first heard of him when I was playing Tony Hawk's Underground, and I was instantly drawn in by the speed of his rapping, and how it went together so well with his beats.
I love the fact that he's one of the very few rappers that don't rap about "da money and da hoez". Each and every song of MC Lars' contains a different genre of music, and he's always coming up with creative and intriguing topics and ideas in his tracks.
If you have not heard 'Dance With The Devil', I beg you to go and listen to it. It's one of the best rap songs I have ever heard, and it's also the song that got me into Immortal Technique. I can't really describe him, I just suggest that you get some of his albums, because he has amazing talent, and songs such as 'Bin Laden' just go to show how he'll rap about even the most touchiest of subjects in this modern age.
4 lists in one day eh?
anyway, i agree with a few of these, but i am certainly no rap expert.
Lol yeah, I'm really bored today.
Thanks for commenting.
3 and 4 win hard!
2 and 3 are awesome. I don't know if he classifies as rap (I guess he does) but I really like Saul Williams
Biggie from time to time, old Eminem, Akon is good but I hate him as a person
Also am fond of The Cool Kids and The Coup
tony hawks underground is the shit
and the soundtrack is sick too
props for 3 and 4
probably the worst list of rappers you could have assembled
1 and 5 are good
Immortal Tech is brilliant, but even for him Dance With The Devil is a cut above any hip-hop I've EVER heard. I need to listen to some Plan B because I saw/heard him somewhere and was very impressed but never got round to it.
The Roots, Jedi Mind Tricks, Gravediggaz, Pharoahe Monch, Old Busta Rhymes, P.O.S., Doomtree, Wu-Tang Clan, Method Man (solo), GZA (solo), NWA, Public Enemy, A Tribe Called Quest, Dilated Peoples, Cypress Hill, Fugees.
lol 2 is the only good one on here
3 is mediocre
the rest are unlistenable
