Well Well...

I've been on a pretty good streak lately as far as good albums go. Now that I think about it it's been quite a while since I've come across an album that I was completely disappointed in. So these are just a few of my favorite albums I've come across in the past couple months. ENJOY!
1Propagandhi
Supporting Caste

Never cared that much about Propagandhi before but this album is currently in the process of blowing me away. So good. Will be checking out their earlier stuff fairly soon.
2The Number Twelve Looks Like You
Worse Than Alone

With every release they just keep getting more interesting. This will probably end up passing Mongrel, which is fantastic album, but I just find this one to be a more interesting listen.
3Wolves In The Throne Room
Black Cascade

Just recently started giving them a serious listen and their first two albums are really solid. This one is definitely a more straightforward release but so far it's pretty great. Can't wait to actually buy the thing.
4Off Minor
Some Blood

Heard a song off this late last year and to be honest I just wasn't too impressed with it. I got the album anyway and now, I really have no idea what it was that turned me off before. Album's pretty great.
5Knot Feeder
Light Flares

Don Cab-esque math rock (probably due to the fact that the group is headed up by one of Don Cab's former guitarists). Such a good album, review will be finished shortly.
6Gospel
The Moon Is A Dead World

Don't really know what to say about this other than it's a pretty fantastic album.
7Frozen Silence
Frozen Silence

Pretty apt band name/title. Not really a regular listening type of album but it's very well put together.
8The Pax Cecilia
Blessed Are The Bonds

Not sure if "post-metal" is entirely correct but regardless of classification, album rules.
9Animal Collective
Merriweather Post Pavilion

Had this for a while and I just have never been in the mood to give it a listen. Finally did last week and it's not half bad so far.
10The Appleseed Cast
Sagarmatha

Not really a "blow you away" type of album but it's extremely well put together. I kind of hope they continue in this direction with their next album.
