Seeing Brand New Tomorrow

seeing brand new, glassjaw, crime in stereo, manchester orchestra, Thrice tomorow at nassau colliseum. Here's some digs from 2009 not necessarily in order, nor are they all in my top 10.
1Eleventh He Reaches London
Hollow Be My Name

this one quickly became my favorite release from 2009. Something so inexplicably foreboding about it.
2Cormorant
Metazoa

My favorite metal release. it sounds pretty fresh compared with alot of stuff ive heard this year.
3Converge
Axe To Fall

I wanna see these guys live so bad.
4Daitro
Y

kinda gay what they did to Thursday, but these guys still kick ass.
5Empire! Empire! (I was a Lonely Estate)
What It Takes to Move Forward

quality emo release at a time when most people forget what emo actually means.
6Strike Anywhere
Iron Front

Something about these guys just rocks. This album was pretty melodic, and postcards from Home may be one of their best songs yet.
7 Propaghandi
Supporting Caste

these guys come out every once in awhile to prove they own everyone.
8Brand New
Daisy

Not the Devil and God, but ill be damned if im not intrigued by Jesse Lacey channeling some Kurt Cobain.
9Thrice
Beggars

Not as good as Vheissu because it never reached the same lofty heights, but this self-produced release is still up there for the year.
10Bomb The Music Industry!
Scrambles

I'm From Long Island. so this is an obligatory album for me. Saw them like 3 times and they rocked even when their synths broke.
