Agalloch Setlist!
A killer show that I will remember for a long time |
1 | Agalloch Dead Winter Days
An awesome opener that was a tiny bit disappointing because the guitars
were so quiet. |
2 | As Embers Dress the Sky
All guitar problems were fixed by now. An awesome song from their debut. |
3 | I Am the Wooden Doors
Probably my least favorite off of The Mantle, but was awesome live.
Sounded more akin to Pale Folklore live. |
4 | In the Shadow of Our Pale Comparison
One of their most epic songs. The quiet part with the "I walked down to a
river" lyrics was changed into a more metal passage that was surprising
and awesome. |
5 | Limbs
Instead of starting out with the loud high feedback, they opted to start
with a wall of impenetrable sound. One of my favorites of the night. |
6 | Not Unlike The Waves
Not one of my favorite songs by them, but was really brought to life live.
The whole crowd shouted "Solstafir!" and it was epic |
7 | Bloodbirds
They sort of fused part 1 of Our Fortress Is Burning...into this one and it
was really epic. The climax was spot on and was a fitting way to end their
setlist, but the night did not end there. |
8 | Falling Snow
You didn't think they'd skip this one, did you? Their first encore and possibly
my favorite individual song by them. Sounded perfect live. The only problem
was that the crowd actually started a mosh pit during the end of the song,
how lame is that? |
9 | The Lodge (Dismantled)
The biggest surprise of the night and boy was I glad they played it. The
droning sound really came alive leading up to one of the most awesome
climaxes and fitting finales I have ever heard. An awesome end to the show
that I never thought I would see |
