| Great Albums No One Has Heard
Just some awesome bands that need some exposure on sputnik. | 1 | | Monomate Grand Battle
This just came out last night and I haven't stopped listening to it. This is probably the best nintendocore album ever that's not by horse the band. Check out a few tracks if you like 8-bit: myspace.com/monomatemusic | 2 | | A Lot Like Birds Plan B
One of the best and most original Post-Hardcore albums of 2009. They have it for free download on their myspace: myspace.com/alotlikebirds | 3 | | Bad Rabbits Stick Up Kids
Some Prince inspired soul/r&b/funk music. They are touring with Foxy Shazam and I can't wait to see them live. | 4 | | An Endless Sporadic An Endless Sporadic
Their EP was pretty popular but no one really realized they released a full-length last year. It's not as intense as their EP, but it is a really good instrumental prog album. | 5 | | So Many Dynamos The Loud Wars
Another one of my favorite albums from 2009 and my favorite palindromic band. Their sound is very unique with hints of indie, math rock, and random spurts of dissonance. | |

02.23.10 | Normally i would say fantastic planet by failure but a decent number of people on sputnik are actually familiar with it | Athom
02.23.10 | I have 5 on cd. i regret the purchase. | americanmusicmachine
02.23.10 | I shall have them all. | opblaaskonijn
02.23.10 | 2 and 4 are very fucking gooooooood.
Especially 2.
I shall check the rest out. | taroo
02.23.10 | Suggestion... check out
Team Shanghai Alice - any of thing
If you like gaming music... this is the best by far. ZUN is a God and blows all other video game music composers out of the water. I'm the only one who rated them so far :(, but they are amazing
Suggested first time listens: Retrosective 53 minutes (easiest to enjoy of the remix albums, I think)
Touhou 6: Embodiment of Scarlet Devil OST (Technoloy it's not an actual album, but you can find all the songs on youtube and other internet sites) | TRMshadow
02.23.10 | Have Heard of 2 & 3 and I love them.
Plan B is some mix of Post-Hardcore and Prog, 4.5 in my book.
Bad Rabbits is the sister band of Post-Rock Irepress (they share a drummer). They have a nice Soul/Funk sound and bring a nice change to a dying genre.
Everyone who's played GH knows of An Endless Sporadic. | elephantREVOLUTION
02.23.10 | thanks for the rec taroo.
holy shit, i didn't know the drummer of irepress was in bad rabbits. and a lot of people do know an endless sporadic, but very few people realize they released a new album last year. | couldwinarabbit
02.24.10 | One's annoying. Three is pretty good though. | FilupLees
04.13.11 | I know that I'm years late, but 2 is one of the most UNoriginal post-hardcore albums ever. It's like a bunch of dudes from random punk-inspired backgrounds got together and created long songs where everyone got to include one song they wrote. Eclectic to the point of entirely unfocused. | climactic
04.13.11 | i heard 2 and 4 | DinoX
04.13.11 | I've heard 1, 2 and 4 | americanmusicmachine
04.13.11 | 5 is kinda annoying. |
