I've listened to this album at least once every day for the past week. I think i slightly prefer "Symbolic,"
but this album is much easier to listen to, plus every song fucking owns. | 2 | | Between the Buried and Me The Silent Circus
A sick album. I prefer Colors and Alaska slightly only because they are more solid. If every song on this
album was as awesome as "Mordecai" and "Ad a Dglgmut," this would probably be my favorite BTBAM
album, but the other songs don't hold a candle to those two, though they are still awesome. | 3 | | Shadow Gallery Carved in Stone
This album is just so damn solid. "Ghostship" is fantastic. I love the whole atmosphere given off by this
album, and the symphonic elements are a great touch. Currently i'm writing a review for this album as
well. | 4 | | Norther Mirror of Madness
I've been listening to this in stints. I dont listen to it every day, but each day i do, i listen to it about 203
times at least. I can't get enough of "Dead" and "Midnight Walker." | 5 | | Unearth III: In the Eyes of Fire
Now THIS is metalcore at its finest. The guitarwork is phenomenal, and other than there not being much
variety, i cannot find any flaws with this album. Waking the Fallen is the only metalcore album that can
compare to this. | 6 | | Blind Guardian Imaginations From the Other Side
While I believe ANATO to be slightly better, this album is much easier to take in in one sitting. The title
track, for my Requiem, And the Story Ends, and Born in a Mourning Hall are my favs, but Another
Holy War has been growing on me, as well as Bright Eyes. | 7 | | Tool 10,000 Days
Though not as good as Aenima or Lateralus, this album has some of the bands best tracks. (Vicarious,
Rosetta Stoned, Right in Two, The Pot) unfortunately the filler on this album really sucks. | 8 | | Symphony X Paradise Lost
When it first came out...i fucking loved it. Then it grew off me a bit...now i'm starting to love it again.
One of my favorite releases this year. | 9 | | Prototype Continuum
Found them out through GHIII. Some awesome thrashy, almsot progressive metal here. A grower. | 10 | | Primus Frizzle Fry
Gotta love Les Claypool's amazing basswork. Im loving "To Defy the Laws of Tradition" and the title
track most so far. "Sathington Willoughby" randomly gets stuck in my head every once in a while now. | |

12.17.07 | Some nice albums on this list. I think III: In the Eyes of Fire is vastly overrated, Waking the Fallen surpasses it. | blackened07
12.17.07 | 1,5,6,7, and 8 are awesome. | Yazz_Flute
12.17.07 | I think i do enjoy Waking the Fallen to it slightly, but for just regular, tight, fast metalcore, III is tops. WtF is more melodic, in a sense almost not metalcore, but i cant think of any other genre for it. | Bfhurricane
12.17.07 | Outside of So It Goes, Giles, and a couple other songs, I dont find III appealing | Killed4less
12.17.07 | 1 and 2 are very good. | jrowa001
12.17.07 | 1,2,5,6,7,8,10 are all really good. i still need 3 and 4 | Confessed2005
12.17.07 | 1, 2, 5 and 7 are all great. I should check out more albums on here. |
