The Butterfly Effect Concert

Last night I saw TBE at the Enmore Theatre, Sydney. Some band called Calling All Cars (who were suprisingly good, if a little boring) and Dead Letter Circus (the vocalist was too good, but they were great other than that, and the crowd knew the words) supported. But everyone was there for TBE and the crowd reaction was enormous. Where I was people weren't moshing, which was gay, but I went all out with a few mates...and the sound quality was poor, but pooey. Also, it seems they were filming for a Live DVD.
1The Butterfly Effect
Window and the Watcher

It became immediately obvious that the crowd would be singing the songs, and Clint would be there to remind us of the words.
2Rain
3A Slow Descent
4Pheonix
5Room Without A View

I didn't actually recognise this song and it took me a while today to figure out what it was.
6Final Conversation
7In A Memory

I cannot express how happy I was that they played this song. It's my favourite TBE song, and it was just fantastic.
8Reach
9Beautiful Mine

They cut back all the instruments for this one, and most of the song was just Clint and a keyboardist, creating a rather emotional...and somewhat spooky experience. Then the full band came in to finish it off.
10One Second of Insanity

The heaviest song of the night, and even the crowd near me was willing to mosh a bit for this.
11Perception Twin
12Gone

The crowd completely drowned Clint out for this one, no suprise there.
13Reckless

A cover song! Pretty fun
14Worlds on Fire

Epic way to end the set, and they used it to make a statement about war with images being projected behind them.
15Encore/Imago

Crowd fails at clapping
16Encore/Aisles of White
17Encore/In These Hands

Bit suprised they played this last...it may be their most recent single, but it's not exactly their most popular...
