10.15.07 | Symphony X covering Iron Maiden would totally kick ass |
Kaleid
10.15.07 | #5 - I think Muse would do a good cover of Walking In My Shoes. The only real cover I've heard of World In My Eyes was by The Cure, but it's average at best |

10.15.07 | Most of these are unique and would probably work. This is probably the first good cover list ever created. |
Monticello
10.15.07 | 11 would probably be amazing. |

10.15.07 | 7 is a horrible song.
I think I'd cry if PT ever tried to cover any Duran Duran. |

10.15.07 | TheStarclassicTreatment, go look up Steven Wilson's Cover Version demos. He covers ABBA on one of them. |

10.15.07 | As long as its not Duran Duran I'm not too bothered tbqh. |

10.15.07 | id like to see a lot of these get done. i think Queens of the Stone Age can pull off Eternal Life by Jeff Buckley |

10.15.07 | I'd really like to hear There There (Boney King of Nowhere [Radiohead]) redone by Wax on Radio. |

10.15.07 | haha it's funny you know, out of all of these songs I expected the Duran Duran song to get flamed. Well, just stop and think for a moment. Ordinary World is actually one of their better songs, it's quite pleasing on the ear. And believe me, i'm no Duran Duran fanboy, some of their songs make me cringe. But Porcupine Tree could rework that song into their own. |

10.15.07 | One other cover song that didn't make the list was -
Queens Of The Stone Age - "Man In The Box" (Alice In Chains)
How do you think Nevermore would go covering Floods? Jeff Loomis would handle the guitar solo/outro no problems. Just a slight question mark over whether Warrell Dane would sing within himself, and not go over the top as he is sometimes prone to do. |
