USBM That Doesn't Suck

5 black metal albums from the USA that don't suck like most.
1Wolves in the Throne Room
Two Hunters

This album is so very amazing, with indescribable atmosphere and excellent black metal moments that don't drag or bore this album proves to be the pinnacle of American black metal.
Instinct: Decay

Unique, impressive and atmospheric all sum this album up, unlike lots of USBM this is imaginative adding psychedelic elements into black metal with some amazing lead work adding up into a gem in black metal.
The Haunting Presence

This album achieves what most USBM bands strive for and fail, cold, dark, and harsh atmospheres without being boring or overly repetitive. The vocals are also quite good and not painfully low in the production like a lot of USBM.
4 Crebain
Leviathan/Crebain Split

OK we all know how much Leviathan sucks but the Crebain side of this split is very good, just know it is excellent and way above the band it shares the split with.
5I Shalt Become

Despite the bad production and less than perfect vocals, this album proves to be quite good and has some great moments, the song "A Once Great Man" is fantastic.
