05.27.10 | Act like you're just having an average conversation one on one with a friend. That's what I do... | vanderb0b
05.27.10 | I've got the same problem, man. I get extremely nervous when in front of people, which sucks, cause I play classical piano and frequently perform live. There's only one way to do well live (in both music and speech): practice a lot. Before competitions, I play piano for about 1.5-3 hours a day, every day that I can. While you shouldn't practice that much for a 15 min speech, definitely rehearse often. | jesusjuice1179
05.27.10 | how are you still taking AP History, the exam was weeks ago | londoncalling457
05.27.10 | This is like our last assignment. After presentations are over we watch movies every day until school ends. | jesusjuice1179
05.27.10 | you still had to go to class afterwards? i didn't i could just come in late every other day | Sowing
05.27.10 | the most important thing to realize is that NO ONE CARES what you are talking about. Chances are they are worried about their presentation right after you, or if they are done, they sure as hell aren't paying attention. Just stay relaxed, don't try to memorize what you are saying, just hit your main points. and like combustion said, just act like it is a regular conversation...charisma and flow are just as important as the content you cover | MrKite
