Albums That Get Too Much Crap

Self explanatory. No douchebag replies if you can help it, but I'm not holding my breath.
1 Angels and Airwaves
We Don't Need to Whisper

Yeah, it's a pretty boring meshing of U2 and pop punk. But it has one good song in The Adventure, and it's better than at least one Blink album (Take Off Your Pants and Jacket)
2Atreyu
Lead Sails Paper Anchor

Their best album, without question. If you give this a 1, everything else they've done better have the same rating. Much less horrid screaming, and more than one decent song (which is what you'd find on each album prior).
3Metallica
St. Anger

Iai said it perfectly. "Hey, it's not as bad as everyone makes out, at least. It does contain 3 decent tracks in "Frantic", "St. Anger", and "The Un-Named Feeling". Okay, so they were all released as singles, which means you've heard them and don't need to buy this record. Yes, it's Metallica's worst record. But this isn't the worst thing ever released, or even the worst album of 2003. Lay off the hate!
4Jay-Z
Kingdom Come

Lazy, boring, uninspired, and mediocre. I'd mostly agree with each of these, but the first three songs are good.
5Bullet For My Valentine
The Poison

No, the band does absolutely nothing new in the almost completely stale metalcore genre, but the execution is done well enough that it's not a real chore or pain to listen to. The instrumental performances are pretty solid, and with all the screaming you might not notice the lyrics might as well be written by Hawthorne Heights. It's better than several other bands at the bottom of the spectrum.
6My Chemical Romance
The Black Parade

Just look at the rating distribution.
7Rise Against
Appeal to Reason

Best for last. Lyrics for "Hero of War" suck? Polka part in "Entertainment" doesn't work? I disagree, but even if they did, that doesn't stop the rest of the album from being good or great. "Re-Education Through Labor", "The Dirt Whispered", "Kotov Syndrome", "Savior", "Whereabouts Unknown"....album rocks. But why listen to me, I'm just a fanboy.
