dmathias52 12.06.19	Oh man I love this list. I forgot to ever check out Russian Girlfriends and am deeply regretting that choice. The lyrics are such a great touch, they read like art on their own. I can tell we have a lot of overlap in what we look for in lyrics.

tom79 12.06.19	Titus Andronicus still got it? Got turned off by them years back after seeing them live even though I loved everything they did up until 2015. Sweet list though man gonna look into it more thoroughly.
mynameischan 12.06.19	they don't "have it" in the same way they did with the monitor and even local business to a lesser extent. but if you can accept that they aren't trying to make epic indie anymore, then their albums are very, very fun. stickles sings like he's drunk now but that's part of what makes it good to me. just catchy, fun rock music.

mynameischan 12.09.19	yeah when i was making this list, i listened to youth fountain almost exclusively. that thing just hits me like a truck. "SO WHERE THE FUCK DID I GO??" patty griffin is real good. she's getting up there in years, so her voice is not as strong as it used to be, but there's a real regal quality to it that she didn't have before. not sure if you watched haunting of hill house, but the song that plays during the wedding flashback is by her. so good.
