good noise rock with 2 or less votes
ordered by release year until it's not. i mostly limited this to artists that have no albums over 2 votes with the exceptions so far being: Killdozer's cover album For Ladies Only, Cougars' 2023 comeback as a five-piece, and Cosmic Psychos debut EP. gimme recs! here's a short Spotify playlist i made as like a sampler of these bands: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4lHSvmpm1ts0kYdgs3Z1yp |
1 | | Terminal Cheesecake V.C.L.
1989. NOT on Spotify. i checked their first 5 or 6 albums and this is the one that i like best. after album #3 they misplaced their guitarist and started doing like psych/dub shit and that's kind of cool too. i like their album Pearlesque Kings of the Jewmost from that era. anyway this album is very short, very raw, and occasionally magnificent |
2 | | Killdozer For Ladies Only
1989. NOT on Spotify. 6 studio albums from 1984-1995 on Touch & Go records. worked with Butch Vig frequently (produced this for example). worked with Steve Albini on their last album. so why did I have to add this covers comp to the database myself in 2023? this shit rocks. if you havent heard Killdozer, this is a great way to acclimate yourself to Michael's unique vox. American Pie is the song to check here |
3 | | Slug Swingers
