good noise rock with 2 or less votes

ordered by release year until it's not. i mostly limited this to artists that have no albums over 2 votes with the exceptions so far being: Killdozer's cover album For Ladies Only, Cougars' 2023 comeback as a five-piece, and Cosmic Psychos debut EP. gimme recs! here's a short Spotify playlist i made as like a sampler of these bands: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4lHSvmpm1ts0kYdgs3Z1yp
1Terminal Cheesecake
V.C.L.

1989. NOT on Spotify. i checked their first 5 or 6 albums and this is the one that i like best. after album #3 they misplaced their guitarist and started doing like psych/dub shit and that's kind of cool too. i like their album Pearlesque Kings of the Jewmost from that era. anyway this album is very short, very raw, and occasionally magnificent
2Killdozer
For Ladies Only

1989. NOT on Spotify. 6 studio albums from 1984-1995 on Touch & Go records. worked with Butch Vig frequently (produced this for example). worked with Steve Albini on their last album. so why did I have to add this covers comp to the database myself in 2023? this shit rocks. if you havent heard Killdozer, this is a great way to acclimate yourself to Michael's unique vox. American Pie is the song to check here
3Slug
Swingers

1992. on Spotify. experimental noise rock group with two bass players. my fav song here is Lockjaw. whole discog is great. im adding a song from 1994's The Out Sound to the playlist too. check Slug

6Crust
Crusty Love

1994. NOT on Spotify. hard to find! these fellas were the first band on Trance Syndicate, King Coffeys label who also brought us Cherubs. wacko jacko noise rock with lots of detours. dark and creative. Dry Jack is the song for me
7Big'n
Cutthroat

1994. NOT on Spotify but their other material is. these dudes sound mean!! they have a couple reunion EPs that are great too. check Big'n!
8Crown Roast
A Nose Has Many Jobs

9Slughog
Grit!

1995. on Spotify. the song is Bread. these dudes are cool they have 2 bassists, a guitarist, and a good drummer. maybe 2 vocalists too im not sure on that. heavy
10Mount Shasta
Who's the Hottie?

1995. on Spotify. love this band!! i like to picture the cartoon cat is singing. their previous album is more well known for having Al Johnson of US Maple on guitar / backup vox, but this one's a little better imo. all 3 albums are great. check S171. cartoon cat
11Starfish
Stellar Sonic Solutions

1995. on Spotify. another Trance Syndicate band. sometimes male vox sometimes female vox. they had a great ear for melody. Happydiss is sick
12Sloy
Planet of Tubes

14Made in Mexico
Zodiac Zoo

2005. on Spotify. you might recognize them from their song Yes We Can on Guitar Hero 2. that song is cool but check Clockwork from this album. has one of the guitarists from Arab on Radar. no wave influenced

18Cougars
Cougs

2023. on Spotify. these dudes have been around for a while now. they used to have lots of members with like horns and keyboards but in 2023 they're a five piece. fans of AmRep style noise punk will dig
