When comparing it to some other albums on the list, some parts of the album have more of a post rock sound than I remember. It's like they were trying to do some something styled after ambient music (something something music school, something something minimalism). Guitar washes and synth pads are used to create droning soundscapes that contrast really well with the slow, continuous movement created by the drum loops. One thing is for sure: while the style comes off as purely natural, the aesthetic is definitely a conscious decision by the band. | | 2 |  | The Third Eye Foundation
