07.23.23 | Bale is literally the worst Batman by a landslide so take your pick from the rest |

07.23.23 | Bale's Batman is kinda a meme now but his movies are far and away better, so him I guess. He was a great Bruce Wayne though |

07.23.23 | Bale is easily the better of the two |

07.23.23 | Bale was in the better movies but Keaton is my batman. Plus Keaton never did that ridiculous voice. |

07.23.23 | "Bale's Batman is kinda a meme now"
Yeah, that voice thing. As Nolan's films attempted something approximating realism, it's really the direct result of applying real-world logic to something naturally outlandish, i.e. a world-famous celebrity playboy anonymously dressing up as a bat to fight crime. Heavily altering his voice (as he's famous) makes sense within that context, but the effect is somewhat ludicrous.
Did as well as he could under the circumstances. I like. Keaton's Batman tended to feel a bit overshadowed by the flashy villains. I suppose that's screen Batman in general though... |

07.23.23 | Keaton's batman isn't batman, he's a Tim Burton lead in a Tim Burton movie masquerading as batman |

07.24.23 | The only thing worse than bale’s Batman is his Bruce Wayne. He may have had the better movies (for the first two at least) but that entirely hinges on the great villain performances. Bale is the second worst part of those movies, just after Nolan. |

07.24.23 | I think batman movies have always relied more on the villains then Batman himself. As much as I love The dark Knight - I'll be real if Heath wasn't in it, it wouldn't have worked half as well as it did. |

07.24.23 | I'd argue that in batman begins, the villains don't really make the movie, Bale does most of the lifting. Bale's performance in DK becomes bad in the second act though. |

07.24.23 | ye with Begins that's valid - it is also my most disliked one from the Nolan Trilogy and that could be why! |
AlexKzillion
07.24.23 | feel like keaton and bale were both perfect for the types of batmans they were playing but i easily prefer the dark knight trilogy take on the character
i liked pattinson's quite a bit too but also feel like i barely remember his bruce wayne scenes?
kilmer is fine
never seen any of the affleck movies |

07.24.23 | ^ His performance was still incredible. Regardless of medium, he embodied the character like no-one else. |
