11.04.22 | What's your favorite 2010's horror movie? |
PizzaBear
11.04.22 | Solid picks here.
Not a particularly "scary" one but I am pretty partial to The Witch. I love the atmosphere and story |

11.04.22 | ^ hard agree, The VVitch has such a menacing pace to it, feels very uneasy the entire time. |
Krpa
11.04.22 | The Wailing for me I think. |
Gameofmetal
11.04.22 | The Blackcoat's Daughter is my pick for an underrated masterpiece. Really phenomenal and heartbreaking twist on a possession story. |

11.04.22 | The Witch is my fav horror movie since The Thing. My next fav 2010s horrors are Suspiria, The Wailing, The Blackcoat's Daughter, Doctor Sleep dir. cut, Hereditary, Us, Get Out, and It Follows. The best genre-bending horrors are Annihilation, Prometheus, Mandy, and Cabin in the Woods. |

11.04.22 | Some of my favourites are The Wailing, Saint Maud and Hereditary. Also want to say Split as well but that is more of a thriller than a horror imo. |

11.04.22 | The Witch is up there yeah, but I like The Lighthouse even more |
PitchforkArms
11.04.22 | 1 is 1
Like both of the others (3 more than 2), but my silver would be The Witch and bronze would be Climax |
Krpa
11.04.22 | Oh yes, many great ones mentioned here. Annihilation, Mandy, The Lighthouse, Get Out... I'd add Bone Tomahawk, The Babadook, Cold Fish, Tag, I Saw the Devil, Killers (last two are more thrillers actually but still)... |
Thalassic
11.04.22 | For me it's a neck and neck between The Wailing and The VVitch |

11.05.22 | 1. I Saw the Devil
2. Hereditary
3. A Serbian Film
4. Doctor Sleep
5. Us
6. Annihilation
7. Cold Fish
8. Bedevilled (Korean one)
9. Bone Tomahawk
10. Cryptic Plasm
Great decade for horror fr. Tons of good stuff dropped. Dope to see Cold Fish mentioned here. Underrated one. Same for Bedevilled. Stuff from South Korea is normally awesome and it's one that tends to get overlooked. Extremely bleak one. Cryptic Plasm is shoestring budget but amazing Lovecraftian madness from Morbid Vision films! |

11.05.22 | Also The Endless probably deserved a mention too. |

11.05.22 | The Lighthouse and Annihilation for me |
Coast
11.05.22 | Some great ones. A few more I liked:
American Mary
Ghostland
Creep
World War Z |
Vercetti
11.05.22 | Get Out and Midsommar.
I also enjoyed I Saw the Devil a lot, but I see it more as a crime/thriller and not a horror film. |
TalonsOfFire
11.05.22 | Yeah Midsommar I would put slightly above Hereditary. Lighthouse is up there too. Coherence and I Saw the Devil are both very good but yea more thrillers. Bone Tomahawk is so disturbing but a great movie! Raw, The House that Jack Built, Train to Busan, 1922, Starry Eyes, Saint Maud, Hole in the Ground, Crimson Peak, Autopsy of Jane Doe, Don't Breathe, Evil Dead, The Invitation, The Conjuring, Mama, Excision, The Ritual, Overlord, Neon Demon, and Apostle are solid as well. |
Trebor.
11.05.22 | The Witch
The Lighthouse
Blackcoat's Daughter
The Wailing |

Updated list would be.
1. I Saw the Devil

11.05.22 | Also if I were to lump Brawl in Cellblock 99 into the horror/exploitation genre it would be in the mix too! That one really blew me away big time |
EphemeralEternity
11.06.22 | Watched The Ritual last night.
The narrative was cliched but fuck it excelled at building tension and terror, probably in my top 10 (which isn't saying much since most horror movies are dogshit) |
