(Mana)tea time - Still slaps?

I’ve been on a big throwback kick recently and wanted to share my thoughts. Let me know if I’m missing anything, how wrong I am, or if you just want to chill and talk I need some friendly chatting.
1Between the Buried and Me
Colors

Still slaps.
2Pierce the Veil
Collide with the Sky

The opener of this album goes hard af still. Idk if the rest of the album resonates with me quite the same way it did when I was twenty-one, but it still slaps overall.
3Meshuggah
Catch Thirtythree

010110101010110101001010

Yeah still slaps.
4Underoath
Define the Great Line

So I’m not gonna lie, I never got into this one quite as much as Lost in the Sound of Separation. On re-listening to it though, I don’t understand why. This album is a masterpiece.
5Oceana
Birth.Eater

Still slaps.
6Protest the Hero
Fortress

Sorry I take Fortress over Kezia. The reasons are many but a) I started with this one, b) the riffs are like the musical equivalent of a good japanese whisky, c) idk I like it more.

Oh yeah and it still slaps.
7The Killers
Hot Fuss

When I was 14 I listened to this album like nonstop for months. Idk that it’s even really that good of an album but my childhood tells me that it is. I don’t know if I would say this “slaps” but I still enjoy it to this day. Does that work?
8My Chemical Romance
The Black Parade

Still slaps idc what anyone thinks.
9Scary Kids Scaring Kids
The City Sleeps In Flames

I don’t know why I was so obsessed with this band growing up=doesn’t slap anymore.
10Converge
Axe to Fall

Still slaps.
11Dance Gavin Dance
Downtown Battle Mountain

Tilian be damned, this still slaps.
12Norma Jean
O' God, the Aftermath

This album is still great, but considering how much I like their more recent work over this, I cannot say it falls under the “slaps” category.
13Broadway
Kingdoms

This album is still good, but it doesn’t quite… you know… slap.
14Four Year Strong
Enemy of the World

My soundtrack of the summer 2010. Still slaps.
15All Time Low
So Wrong, It's Right

I’m sorry I fucking LOVED this album when I was 17, and honestly it is still their best album. So yes, I would say this album still slaps. You can burn me alive now.
16Linkin Park
Meteora

STILL SLAPS.
17Paramore
Riot!

Still slaps
18Avenged Sevenfold
City of Evil

Still slaps.

Yes I said it, this album slaps. You can burn me again.
19The Fall of Troy
Doppelganger

Uhhhhhh still slaps
20Alexisonfire
Crisis

The album that introduced me to post hardcore as a genre.

And it still slaps.
21Killswitch Engage
The End of Heartache

So this album is still great, but it doesn’t quite slap the same way. Idk I guess it doesn’t like…. SLAP anymore, but it’s still good? Idk how to describe my feelings.
