First list for the end of the year stuff so I figured I'd get some of the real trash out of the way early with 10 of the worst songs I've had the displeasure of hearing. Enjoy, or don't! |

"Hit It From The Back"
This spot could have been for any song on this record as they are all hilariously bad, whether the intention to be tongue in cheek is there, it still doesn't forgive that Kim Petras is a bad vocalist, bad lyricist and just an overall bad musician. This song in particular is bland, not sexy in the least bit and features no redeeming qualities other than the brief space at the end of the song where things go quiet and you have peace. |

"Fuck About It" ft. blackbear
The scenes most insufferable band featuring the scenes most "relevant" hip hop based champion, thanks MGK. This song is just bad, the whole album is really bad, but this song in particular is offensive to the ears, particularly the lyrics and both sets of vocals it has to offer. |

DOGMA
"Superstar" ft. Remington whatever the fuck his name is
This band has fallen off hard, not that they were ever a really essential band in metalcore/post hardcore. But this record really solidified how bad they are at writing competent, interesting songs and this crossover track is really the icing on the cake. It fails so hard at even the simplest task of writing a basic pop tune that it had me crying laughing. Not to mention how awful the production and vocals sound on this thing. |

It's the End of the World But It's a Beautiful Day
"Seasons"
Yeah, we all know this record is trash but "Seasons" in particular is offensive because it tries so hard to appeal to that Imagine Dragons fanbase yet somehow pulls off a worst product than Imagine Dragons might be capable of. Jared's heavily autotuned vocals are grating and really have me missing those early 2000's for this band. |

Godsmack have never been a "great band" but they've had a few decent cuts over the years but it's clear that they haven't been selling as well recently so they went for the lowest common denominator for their trucker hat wearing, american flag waving, military dick sucking fans by writing a song about the ole red white and blue flag and it is atrocious. On top of the lyrics being half-assed and unlistenable, the generic rock riffs, the bad melodies, the straight up simplicity of it all, is just comical. |

"Watch The World Burn"
One of the latest singles from egotistical maniac Ronnie Radke and friends really reaches for the threshold of "how silly and self-absorbed can I be before people jump ship." These lyrics man, these lyrics are the same as every single they've released over the past 3 years! I'm the bad guy, everybody clowns on me but I'm better than them because I write hit singles and hate trans people. Fuck this guy, fuck his shit music. |

Takin' It Back
"Mother"
Trainor has always been one of the most annoying voices in pop music since that horrific song that got her on the map so many years ago but this takes the cake, it's another level of annoying. And that's all this song is, it's annoying, it's infuriating to listen to. If you feel inspired by this, I think you may need to see a professional. |

The common theme amongst most of my least favorite songs are stupid lyrics and this one does not disappoint in that department. The whole "I'm a bad boy but still believe in god" thing is hilarious in itself but what really torments me is how bad of a vocalist this dude is. The melodies are trash, the hooks are so boring. The trap beats that sit under this garbage are so unappealing in every way. |

We've all heard this nonsense, we all understand what it's about and what the intention of the song and it's lyrics are. It's fearmongering/violence-thrill seeking is not for me but even when looking past the insipid lyrics, the song itself is bland, uninteresting, color by numbers bullshit. |

I don't really know what I could possible add to the narrative surrounding this "artist" and his trash music only that this song literally made my ears bleed. Not only are the lyrics insufferably stupid and nonsensical, the entirety of the composition and performances are so phoned in and uninteresting that I don't understand how anyone could get enjoyment out of this. |
