02.13.22 | A great year in death metal. 21 is 1 and 2 is 2, or maybe even 1. Deeds of Flesh would be in my top 10, Vomitory would as well. I see you're quite the Angelcorpse fan. I really like their 2007 return but it never got any traction... |

02.13.22 | Top 3 are here so props (adramelech, immolation and cryptopsy)

02.13.22 | i don't really listen to DM but 20 should be way higher than it is currently |
butt.
02.13.22 | oooo cool list I'll have to check some of these obscure ones. and bruh you gotta rate 'em, poor number 4 up there don't have any ratings. bruhhh |
butt.
02.13.22 | "20 should be way higher than it is currently"
um yeah that's tied as my favorite dm album of all time. what is it doing way down there. Immolation should be higher too |

02.13.22 | I can move it up if that makes you any happier, but I stated above that they are in no particular order - it's just a list of my favourite DM albums of 1996, not a ranking. |
Genocyber
02.13.22 | I don't particularly enjoy rating albums, but you're right - poor Killengod have no rating at all haha. |

02.13.22 | Letsa go. I really like those lists. A lot of great shit I forgot about or never even heard. The first two decades ov 2000 would also make me happy. Especially 2011-2020, it's a time period where I lost interest in death metal and would gladly discover this decade. |

02.13.22 | It will happen, eventually (2000 onwards). I'm happy these lists get any views / comments. |
butt.
02.13.22 | If mx would make the list description font bigger than 3 then I might have seen your note above about the order. Apologies good sir |

02.14.22 | and what a coincidence, you posted this list on the 26th anniversary of when Here In After was released in the US. |
Genocyber
02.14.22 | That is indeed a nice coincidence, I didn't even know that. |

02.15.22 | Another killer list man! There's 7 here I need to check out. I jammed Rise, Killengod and Obscenity so far. Killengod was so damn good I clicked the dig button on it. I've made quite a few very, very satisfying discoveries from these lists so far so cheers for that. Bookmarking all of them and honestly I hope you do them for every year that dm has existed because I'm digging your tastes and you obviously have dug very deep into the genre.this is my typa shit!!! |

02.15.22 | nice pick for 1 fvckin trve ahrd ablum \n/ |

02.15.22 | Thanks! More lists are definitely planned. As you can probably tell by now, I am not a huge fan of Melodic Death Metal or the more progressive / experimental side of the genre, but if your tastes are anything like mine, I'm sure you'll discover more great bands. |
Uzumaki
02.15.22 | Not a fan of the progressive/experimental side? So does this mean no Demilich? |
Genocyber
02.15.22 | I haven't listened to Nespithe in a while, but it probably will not make it onto my list. |
evilford
02.15.22 | Oof |

02.15.22 | ah... Nesphite and the vocals straight outta ass. One of the greatest achievements in dm. It's so easy to get lost in that album. It's funny that Demilich, Adramelech, Demigod and to lesser extent Convulse all come from Finland, all recorded one amazing and revolutionary album only to fall into obscurity and never release anything worthwhile. |
evilford
02.15.22 | Adramelech had a couple other releases that were worth checking |

02.15.22 | I know, I know... I tried and I wanted to like them but ultimately they don't even come close to Psychostasia. |
Genocyber
02.15.22 | Mainly the Seven EP and Pure Blood Doom. Terror of Thousand Faces is forgettable. |

02.15.22 | Spring of recovery was gr8 |
