Nuchoking 07.20.21	Nice Johnny, as soon as that The Veils track pop up I knew you were on point. Need to check out more Oxbow, pretty much as a matter of priority... irritatingly it doesn't appear to be on spotify, at least in the UK. Really like 'Any Other City' fits in with the fold perfectly. 'Kocorono' casualty of spotify again... Went for 'Escape' of the split CD (only release on there) although I really enjoyed 'Lost in Time' as well. 'Sappukei' really like this, not as familiar with this Number Girl album though and will have to come back. 'Fake can be just as good' right up that street I was looking for, great recommendation. Unwound.... Kantina? totally agree with the sentiment though.

Nuchoking 07.20.21	Dino JR/SY - Two bands I've been expanding my knowledge of and I'm very muc enjoying the process. Problem with Sonic Youth is that every time I go to listen to them, I just end up listen to Sister... because its just so damn good, but I need to listen to other albums.
JohnnyoftheWell 07.20.21	As problems go, that's a relatable one ngl - Sister for when your blood's hot and EVOL when it's cold is more than you'll get from most bands' whole discogs. If you can break the spotify curse I think you'll find something in kocorono that you won't get from either, but fair shit if you wanna stick with Sister I cannae blame you. brb peeping those Split trax

Nuchoking 07.20.21	With my tastes I often have to find alternative sources to Spotify, but it's barely an effort is it... just nice when it's in one place. I'll be sure to check out kocorono when I get some time, I liked what I heard so definitely worth investigating.

Young Jesus - River/Storm - I've literally only listened Welcome to Conceptual Beach, this is good, need to check them out some more. Love that Turnover track and the album. I also like that Peach Pit track... not the Peach Pit I'm aware of though who are like kinda math rock

Big Ups - Trying To Love... yes! I like this, I'd been meaning to check them out so thanks for the excuse. I enjoyed Conceptual Beach so if its better in your opinion I look to forward to checking the whole thing out.
