First list in 11 years

Used to make a lot of lists starting in 2006. Last one I made was in 2010. Just some records I've been enjoying lately.
1Sturgill Simpson
Sound and Fury

Love how he drastically changes his style and still manages to outdo himself. His most recent 3 albums are all instant classics.
2The Brian Jonestown Massacre
Take It From The Man!

A friend of mine was trying to get me to listen to them for years and when I finally did I was instantly hooked.
3Mr. Bungle
The Raging Wrath of the Easter Bunny

One of my favorite bands ever with a brand new album! I'm not disappointed at all like some other fans. Sure it's not eclectic like their original three releases, but who cares when it is thrash this good?
4Wilco
Being There

Another friend tried to get me listening to Wilco and I'm just getting started. Their alt-country is my favorite so far, going to have to listen to Uncle Tupelo next.
5Miles Davis
The Complete In a Silent Way Sessions

A long time favorite.
6Clowns
Bad Blood

My tattoo artist got me into Clowns and now they're one of my favorite hardcore punk bands. The singer is just incredible.
7Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks
Sparkle Hard

New album is great, Stephen has been so consistent for so long. I just don't get why The Jicks aren't more popular than they are.
8 Sordid Ship
Vague Digitale

French surf punk. Highly recommended.
9Franz Liszt
Hungarian Rhapsody, No. 2

Been listening to a lot of his Hungarian Rhapsodies and Transcendental Etudes. My mother is a huge classical music lover and it rubbed off. I miss seeing the orchestra.
10Poison Idea
Feel the Darkness

Classic LA Punk. Doesn't get much better than this.
