Larkinhill
09.30.19 | I wouldn’t call Sempiternal metalcore at all. |
Intothepit
09.30.19 | No one wants to mention TOCS being on this list? |
Emim
09.30.19 | It's a pretty good representation of a very specific style. I probably wouldn't lump it in with metalcore though. |
TheClansman95
09.30.19 | hmmm how does Poison the Well sound? |
DoofDoof
09.30.19 | genre goes from strongth to tsreedght |

09.30.19 | "hmmm how does Poison the Well sound?"
Awesome. That album is one of the best of the genre. |
RadioSuicide
09.30.19 | "No one wants to mention TOCS being on this list" TOCS is what got me into hxc music when I was a pup, it'd probably have a place on my list too. |
falsegrindgf
09.30.19 | Serious lack of Attack Attack! |
Groundking
09.30.19 | I thought this was a metalcore list, what's TOCS (post hardcore) and Calculating infinity (mathcore) doing here? |
RadioSuicide
09.30.19 | TDEP is the creme de la creme of metalcore |
Intothepit
09.30.19 | Lol but TOCS is not metalcore in the slightest |
StarlessCore
09.30.19 | Interesting mix of great and garbage |
Thalassic
09.30.19 | Surprisingly varied list, which is cool.

10.01.19 | 'TDEP is the creme de la creme of metalcore'

Storm In A Teacup

Groundking
10.05.19 | That's like saying Deathcore is a subgenre of Metalcore when it's clearly not. |
Intothepit
10.05.19 | OMG please tell me this guy isn't really this stupid. |
Viriathus
10.06.19 | Deathcore is technically a subgenre of Metalcore. Lots of early Deathcore came from the Belgian Metallic Hardcore scene. |
Intothepit
10.06.19 | Don't even try. He won't get it. |
Groundking
10.06.19 | And by the same logic it's all just blues music.... |
Uzumaki
10.06.19 | Metalcore is a sub genre of classical... |
Intothepit
10.06.19 | No, not by that same logic. Mathcore is a subgenre of metalcore in that the only real difference is the usage of odd time signatures. Bands like Botch, TDEP, Coalesce... All metalcore bands that use odd time signatures and polymeters, yet still play metalcore music. It's not that hard to understand, ya dunce. |
