Blackened Deathcore

A fusion of my two favorite genres, black metal & deathcore. So naturally, I'm interested. But these are the only blackened deathcore bands I know. Note: These albums/bands are not ranked
1Shrine of Malice
Malignance

Newcomers. They only have one release and I actually haven't heard it quite yet.
2Shadow of Intent
Melancholy

The album isn't out yet, but Ben Duerr (vocalist) said the album will be blackened deathcore. If the first single "Underneath A Sullen Moon" is any indicator, this will potentially be the best of the genre. Can't wait for this one!
3Carnifex
Slow Death

For now, this is the benchmark album of the genre. It was ambitious of the band, who have previously never done anything as different. But they executed beautifully. The album is heavy as hell and the black metal influence is evident.
4Lorna Shore
Flesh Coffin

Probably the most popular band in the genre. They may actually have pioneered the genre that has only been around for a few years. Although don't quote me on that. Tom Barber is undoubtedly one of the best blackened deathcore vocalists.
5Mire Lore
Marrow Leech

I had no idea this was considered blackened deathcore when I first heard it and was surprised when I found out. Truth is it doesn't sound "blackened" but they draw themselves apart from other deathcore bands with the albums gloomy, eerie, swamp atmosphere which really contributes to the listening experience. Better than ogre packet slammers lol.
6A Wake in Providence
The Blvck Sun || The Blood Moon

Only here because they bill themselves as blackened deathcore, but once again it's not prevalent like on "Slow Death" or anything else here. Decent album nonetheless.
